That's when I realized the battle tower cheats.

Miltank is perfectly capable of using Thunder via TM, and Thunder is actually one of the few attacks that can hit a pokemon using Fly.

That one can be attributed to realy really bad luck. Most of the stuff that I've seen or heard about of the screwed-up-ness of the Battle tower, the facts in favor of cheating all revolve around the enemy being way too fast, or too strong, or, apparently, resists 100% guaranteed flinch.
 
am i one of the few people who hasent had bad luck with the battle tower ever?

sure stuff happens, but i have made it to 100 battles withen a week or twos time almost every time i go through.

i just plan my team ahead. good/great ivs (mainly speed),plan the evs,breed if needed for egg moves etc.

i fix explosition w/ quagsire's damp and is a decent EQ'er,i have a banette for item checking with frisk and having knock off is good,WOW for burn and protect to help the burn go. then a sweeper like latios w/soul dew. thats what i took into the BT and won 100+.

it just takes planning.

I tend to get to about 33/34 before losing, and only because I come up against things I have a massive type disadvantage against. Not really bad luck, just bad planning.

I beat Palmer easily using Articuno (Mind Cold combo), Torterra and Blissey.

But then I always seem to come up against a team of Arcanine/Muk/Hitmonlee. Which owns me.

I should really change my team, shouldn't I? :p
 
I wield a SwordStone/SwordsCombat Infernape, a Brave Staraptor, and a General Vespiquen (quite obviously I made all of those up, but Infernape is Swords Dance and Stone Edge/Close Combat combo, Staraptor is a master of Brave Bird, and Vespiquen uses the Order attacks.)
 
Battle Tower does cheat. My friend got to the part where you battle your rivals dad again for the second time. His Heatran evaded an Earthquake attack, twice. Not to mention my team got ohko by everything, once I got far enough.

Maybe it had Brightpowder on it.

Dude, do you even know what Wonderguard is? It prevents ALL damage done by any attack that is not Super Effective. It's an Ability exclusive to Shedinja. Ergo, Battle Tower is a hacking cheater. Now, Wonderguard is very easy to get around, just start hammering it with Dark Ghost or Bug type attacks, but who's to say it won't be a Wonderguard Spiritomb next?

o..sry my mistake. i forgot what it did...but i was pretty sure that i left you with 1HP..mabey because shedinja always has 1 HP..lol

Nope, not possible. I've checked every single type against Dark/Ghost on my Poketch, it can't be done. There is absolutely no type in existence that can take out a Dark/Ghost type with Wonderguard, which is why Wonderguard is the most dangerous thing to be hacked, ever, for all eternity. That's the very reason Shedinja only has one HP and can easily be wiped out by just throwing out Tyranitar.

However, if it were a Miltank or Kangaskahn with Scrappy, it could hit the Sableye with a Fighting attack for Super effective Damage. Or something that had used foresight.
