Hey folks, Mr. Grass here with a little tid bit from my personal life. I just got my first tattoo! It's something I've been thinking about doign for a while and finally decided to go for it. It's a medium sized frog with a gold crown (ie Frog Prince) on my left arm. It actually wasn't as painful as I though it was going to be. Anybody else out there got a nifty tattoo?
  2. Do those temporary Pokemon tattoos that they hand out at pert near every Pokemon event count?

Nope, no Tattoo. Don't really plan on one. I remember a while back a fellow who got the 'Heartless' insignia as a tattoo... that would be interesting.

Come to think of it, I haven't actually tried those temporary Pokemon tattoos...

No thank you. I perfer to express art my own way. I don't want other people putting their art on my body.

Also I feel that the human body is pure and good and should be left in its natural state as much as possible. In fact a number of my drawings are in their "natural state" if you catch my drift. (but always in good taste) I feel that tattos are a form of graffiti.

No offense intended. I have family with tattos. I just don't support the idea.

LOL that reminds me of this one comedian talking about his friends getting tattoos. He said, why dont they just get tattoos across their chests that read "i'm stupid" so that in 50 years when they scream, "Why did i do this?!!!" they can look down at their chests and go, "Oh, yeah, 'I'm stupid.'" offense, the tatt issue just reminded me of that guy. He had a hilarious set.

But anyways, Mr. Grass! How could you tarnish yourself with a tattoo? A tatto shouldnt be like all those shirts we see today. Shirts that say stuff like: "Bad to the Bone", "Wild Child," "Keep Staring, I Might Do a Trick." Maybe you dont feel like being "Bad to the Bone" u dont wear the shirt. But ur dealing with a tattoo! It's like wearing ONLY that slogan brand shirt every day!

Do u really want to commit yourself to such a...permanent...statement? I like drawing on my wrists and forearms because its so weird to see your very own art on your very own skin that can stretch, unlike paper. But then after a day, it's gone. It was fun while it lasted, but I know i wouldnt want my art on me forever...

I cant believe someone could ever reach such a level of brazeness.

On the brighter i did see a special on the history of tattoos. Very interesting, with a hint of creepyness. They showed how some (Philippino?) cultures used tattoos to ward off voodoo, and is still practiced today (my dad's coworker told him all about it, as a client of the practice)! They also explored the roots of Japanese full body tattoos! Intense! You couldnt even make out skin, the artwork was so complex.

In conclusion, Senor Grass, do what you want, but...whew, i know you'll never catch me dead at Aunt Bubba's Tattoo Shack any time soon.

    Nope, I don't have a tattoo - I want one though.

I want one of small stars or hearts (I'm a female - what kind of
a guy gets a tatoo of small, pretty hearts?) or maybe the archer.

Also, is there a certain age you need to be to get a tattoo? My
friend got one when he was 13 but others have told me you need to be 18.

My dad has like 10 of them, all tribal and self-designed. Each member of the family is represented somewhere on his left bicep. It's not tarnishing your body, it's a way of expressing your creativity. It is also a showing of individualism. Tattoos are not just for punk rockers and bikers. I plan to get one on my 18th birthday.
    My two cents.

dude, tatts are all good, but promise me you won't go like crazy with all of them

while a buddy of mine was gettin one....... this guy walks by and he had zebra streaks on his face running back to the tips of his ears............ and even the tattoo artist was like "check out the moronic freak"

i'm gonna get one soon, but i haven't had the time or the money

mine will probably be of tribal lettering of "certain chaos"

kind of a sentimental thing to me

but yeah, tattoos are awesome as long as it means something to you and you don't overdo it..........

yes you must be 18, unless u know someone........... 16 with a parent present and that's it........

it is actually covered under state law, but the federal government set the standard and threatened the states by denying block grants

that's all there is to it
