Also we are listed now as 11:00am Registration time and start time around Noon, Depends on Pre-Game set up and how long it takes to get everyone ready, shooting for the 30 minute norm.

Pokemon-e TCG "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua" Pre-release Tournament

"EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua" is a "Limited/Seal Deck" format. Players will get six booster packs to make a 40-card deck (including energy which will be provided at the store). The tournament will be "Age-Modified Swiss". We will run at least four rounds of swiss. By playing in the "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua", players will receive a special Promo Card that you can only get by playing in these Pre-release Tournaments and you will have Cards that have not yet been released to keep. Cards can actually start being used at League on or around the 15th of March(Actual Release date)

Prizes will be "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua" Booster Packs for all of the winners in the Pre-release . In the "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua" Pre-release Tournament, prizes will be given to the Top-8 Players in each age group. The "Break Down" on prizes and age groups for the "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua" are listed below.

Entry Fee: $20 / EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua

Prizes: 1st - 8th Place (For Each Age Group)
( Age Groups: 10-Under, 11-14, 15-Over )

1st Place: One Display of Pokemon-e TCG "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua" Boosters (36-Packs)

2nd Place: 18-Booster Packs of "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua"

3rd - 4th Place: 9-Booster Packs of "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua"

5th - 8th Place: 4-Booster Packs of "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua"

Tournament Format: Limited Tournament/Sealed Deck

In "Sealed Deck Format", each player will have six booster packs of the Pokemon-e TCG "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua" set. Players add Basic Energy cards to build a 40-card deck. Basic Energy cards will be provided by the Tournament Organizer. Players may only use only the cards that they get from their six booster packs plus basic energy. NO TRADING of cards from these booster packs will be allowed to build your deck. Decklists will be provided and MUST be filled out and turned in to play in the tournament.

Limited decks contain exactly 40 cards. Players who open multiple copies of a card are not limited to only 4 of any card that is normally applied to the Pokemon Trading Card Game. Any extra cards are set aside for the remainder of the event. Players MUST play only the cards that they have listed on their Decklist. (Players may not change out any cards in their deck between rounds of swiss play.)
Players set aside four Prize cards at the start of each game, instead of the normal six.

can u add one little thing....
since most of the players here are used to Events on Saturdays and this one is SUNDAY can u post that up there
where it will stand out a bit?
Also we are listed now as 11:00am start time (safely assuming that is registration time and start time around 11:30-12ish (or will will have registration at 10:30??

No Sir! There is a Magic Pre-Release at the store as well as some other sanctione event. No room for us that is why the Pre-Release is on Sunday :cool:
 
yeah I hate playing in the micro room besides I hear they may be a special judge in this event

Hey Bowser!

Sanctioned event this Friday March 5th @ Gamemasters in Gilbert, tho.

And We will have a Special sanctioned event on March 27th @ GamersEdge in Chandler so keep that date open as well.

O.k. It is 4 Days and counting(If you don't count today as today is already here and well)
So I expect to see all 225 of you wide eyed and ready to go. New Cards, never before seen(well kinda) but definately never before used(well again unless you live in japan or play with Japanese Cards)
Nevertheless, I think were in for one terrific Pre-Release. Can not wait to see the NEW cards myself(although I already have seen some)
Who will reach above and beyond the others that show and come up with that little bit of extra deck building skill that is needed to be crowned CHAMP? Well ya won't know unless ya show.
