What's good about it?

  • Easy to get to for East Coasters, Mid westerners and Europeans!
  • More attainable point structure for invites!
  • 4x the scholarships!
  • Finally we know where it is!!!

What else?

BWAHAHAHA, You're in my neck of the woods now! Don't go pahking your cah ovah at Hahvid Yahd, ya gonna git towed.

Watch this be the year I 'win' a trip to Worlds -.-

Anyway, Boston is both a really accessible area and a nightmare. If you are not staying at or near the convention center (I'm guessing BCEC over by the Waterfront or Hynes Convention Center on Boylston Street), the MBTA is your best friend (AKA the T ovah here). If anyone has any questions on getting in or around Boston, shoot me a PM, I can help with a bunch of the ins and outs.

Just an update for everyone, they've announced the location for Worlds:

Hynes Convention Center
900 Boylston Street
Boston, MA 02115
Phone: 617-954-2000

This is very close to two subway stops so if you're not staying in a nearby hotel, it is easily accessible (Hynes Convention stop on Green line-B, Prudential center stop on Green line-E). This convention center is also connected to the Prudential Center mall so food options will not be an issue. While you are there, head to center court, go to customer service, and request a 'Pru-fered' card. It is free to sign up (they often just had you the card) and gives you discounts on a lot of the stores inside the mall as well as the food court.

Totally getting hyped for this.

Have fun all,
Rob
