BAR decks need to change their name, because the Amphy will soon be replaced by Aqua's Manectric. These guys are only stage ones, freeing up a space or maybe two in BAR decks for some more drawing power. Expedition Amphy can't compare to this guy. Read his power: Power Shift: Once during your turn (before you attack), you may move any number of basic energy cards attached to one of your pokemon with Team Aqua in its name to another of your pokemon. THis power can't be used if Team Aqua's Manetric is affected by a special condition. Besides the fact that Amphy has more HP and a better overall attack, TAM is an overall better card, and besides, when Amphy rotates out, TAM will be used in most Blaziken/Rayquaza decks. If I were to build a BAMR deck (that's what I'm calling it until someone gives me a better name), it'd look something like this: Pokemon: 24 4 Dragons Torchic 1 Flare Combusken 4 Firestarter BLaziken 2 Team Aqua's Electrike 2 Team Aqua's Manetric 2 Take Down Skitty 2 Energy Draw Delcatty 4 Dunsparce 3 Rayquaza EX Energy: 16 12 Fire 4 Multi Trainers: 20 4 TV Reporter 3 POR 4 Oracle 2 PETM 3 Switch 1 Fisherman 3 Rare Candy That's what I would do. Look! The deck has room for twenty trainers! Yay! Anyway, TAM lets you free up a few spaces and will definetely replace Amphy when EXon becomes the modified format. TAM will make BAR decks virtually unstoppable in the hands of a good player. I mean that seriously. Unless we get some kind of awesome helper for Gardy or Aggron/Wailord decks, BAMR decks will become the most popularly played. Here's my idea of one with the knowledge of all non-released cards in America that I know of. EXON FORMAT BARM DECK: Pokemon 23: (In case you didn't notice, this is the same) 4 Dragons Torchic 1 Flare Combusken 4 Firestarter BLaziken 2 Team Aqua's Electrike 2 Team Aqua's Manetric 2 Take Down Skitty 2 Energy Draw Delcatty 3 Dunsparce 3 Rayquaza EX Energy: 18 14 Fire 4 Multi Trainers: 19 4 TV Reporter 3 Lanette's Net Search 3 Wally's Training 4 Rare Candy 3 Rare Candy 2 Switch That's basically what I see happening. Gardy shouldn't be a problem for this deck, Aggron/Wailord will be missing Furret and may resort to *shudder*Linoone*shudder* (goodness I hope not) so many will abandon this deck. Amphy EX will be missing Expedition Amphy. New rogue decks will spring up, but this deck will probably trample them. The problem I see mostly with this deck is Kindra EX teched out to the MAX! I figure if we get something else like Ditto or Shard, this deck may see some problems, but TAM's attack is fairly decent, and compliments Blaziken's other benched damaging attack quite nicely. That damage adds up after a while. If we don't see some good anti-BARM tech soon, this deck will become the next Sneasel/Slowking (this may be an exaggeration, so don't kill me) deck, meaning: You either play it, or you play something that directly counters it, which may be nothing if Shard or Ditto ain't remade!
