14 masters 4 rounds, with TOP 2 cut

Round 1 vs Durant

I set up a Zoroa active. My opponent mulligans two times and after drawing, I end up with a Collector, energy and switch in my starting hand. He starts with a lone Durant. I end up winning the die roll and go FIRST. I collector for Victini, Victini but Red Victini is prized So I take another pokemon. I play Victini, attach a purple energy, use switch for Zoroa and call the attach and I roll TWO HEADS! for the first turn win! We play a fun game afterward and he cleans my clock. 1-0

Round 2 vs Sneasal Dark Deck

I set up an active pokemon and two on the bench. I win the die roll and realize I should have kept one of my pokemon and used Pokemon Communication for a Victini and then should have played a Prof Juniper for a new hand and hoped to get a switch....but I played judge and tossed my hand into my deck. This set my opponent back about 4 turns. During this time he Pokemon Catcher Red Victini active and did 40 damage. I got Pokemon Communicators and had plenty of pokemon and then got the Prof Juniper To play next turn...however.....after like I said 4 turns of doing really nothing, my oppt top decks a Pro Juniper, he had no hand. On this same turn he plays Weavile and looks at my hand and discards the Pro Juniper. The game goes down hill after this point... I buy some time with sleep but in the end I am finished...off...1-1

Round 3 vs Shamin EX grass deck....

Well I played one of the two Senior players this round. Pretty much the same thing happens this round/turn as the first game. I go first, he has only a Shamin EX. I draw, play Pokemon Collector, get Victini, Red Victini and another pokemon. I play both Victini's; attach energy to purple Victini, use switch and call the attack....I roll TWO HEADS AGAIN!!!! for the win!!! Again we play a fun game and he cleans my clock....2-1

Round 4 vs Typhlosio/Reshiram Fire Deck...

I go second, He starts with Reshiram EX. I start with a lone Zoroa. He attached a fire energy and passes. I draw a Mincinco and place it on the bench, attach an energy to Mincinco. I use Pokemon Collector and place Victini, Vitini and Red Vitinni on the bench. He attaches double colorless, Pokemon Catcher Red Victini and KOs it. I really can't due much, I put up Drowzee and use its attack to bring up a benched Reshiram w/o energies and put it asleep. This buys me about three turns, but no good,,,,I either flip unsuccessful or can't do anything. He goes through my pokemon rather fast (not counting the several turns his Reshiram was asleep) 2-2

David N. announces the final standings and I was in 5th Place!!...Best finish in a long time....

At the end of the Day, Team Lakewood took 1, 2, 5, 8 and 12 place.!!!!!

Kudos the Team Lakewood, David N for running the event, Adventures Games for having a Charizard Painting I picked up from a local artist, my gracious opponents....
