Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Booster Box Ratios & Pokemon EX

But do you think this will actually hold up? I mean, the sets aren't necessarily out internationally yet and the ratios for Japan are for Japan as of right now. Not our versions of the prints. They have much smaller set sizes, so do you think it'll still stay the rarity of the holos?

I'm actually thinking that it might end up roughly the same this time. Especially since FAs are easier to pull in English packs compared to Japanese ones. In Japanese packs you get a FA out of every 2 boxes (of 20 packs each) on average while in NA you get 2 per box on average. That's more than twice as easy to pull in NA packs.
As for FA EXs, there are 6 in this set. If they make them 1 per box like alot of people are guessing then it'll take at least 6 boxes to pull a set (not including shiny cards). The last time you needed to buy at least 6 boxes to get a complete set was when they had Pokemon*. And even then most of them weren't very good and weren't very expensive. And since almost all of the FA EXs are good this set, I can't see collecting a set really possable for under $400+ if they make them one per box. And that doesn't seem like a smart thing for TPCI to do.
This is all just assumption of coarse.

Makes enough sense. Isn't there three total Full Art's in this set? We also have Shinies yet too in Gardy, Archeops and Catcher which are all much more rare I would imagine than the FA's. Possibly thinking 3 EX's + 2 EX FA's a box is what I'm thinking. Maybe a shiny secret rare every 2 or 3 boxes since they're more playable this time around.

I didn't want to make a new thread for this, but why is it that Yanmega Prime for fetching for $55 when as someone noted above that, they're likely to come in at least every box purchased? Yet Kyurem is only going for $20? I realize there's a rarity difference, but Kyurem is still just as hard to pull I've heard, the most popular card to play in the set currently and the most expensive as well. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yanmega went for that high very briefly, if at all, and only because it was THE metagame card that players were rushing to buy earlier this year. As good as Kyurem is, it's never had that brief fad stage where everyone was trying to get it at once. But Yanmega had peaked even before the Prime Challenge boxes had come out, as it was $35-40ish and then the release of the Prime boxes pushed it down to $10 or less on most card sites.

While there's probably around the same odds to pull Kyurem and Yanmega in a booster box, many buyers and sellers will just assume that Yanmega is more rare because Primes are half as common as rare holos in general. That kind of inflates its price as well.

You mean Next Destinies? They've anounced that there'll be 6 FA's in it in English. And assuming we get the same shinies as Japan did, then we'll get Zoroark, Hydreigon, Emboar and Chandelure in this set.

I've been following the set information pretty substantially to this point, but as far as ratios go, that's what I'm trying to gather for the most part.

Personally I don't see why we would go back to one FA per box now that they're adding even more of them in one set. Like, the DP sets only gave one LV. X in a box when there were only 1-3 of them in a set, for example. Two per box sounds realistic still.

I'm expecting if all 6 ex are released and 3 FA ex are released to be seeing ratios like this
2 ex per box
1 FA ex per box
1 shinny per box
Those are the minimums of each type, yes u could get lucky and get more but this is what I'm expecting especially since the all ready announced the ex tins in march

I'm thinking more along the lines of: 4-5 EX's, 2 FA's, 1 Shiny every 2-3 Boxes personally.

Any confirmation on the pull ratios now that the set has been released? Every other thread seems to be talking about Mewtwo ratios rather than the EX pull ratios themselves.
