Welcome to the gym's new buyers house!

Who sends first? The one with the lesser iTrader references sends first. In most cases it will be the Buyer sending payment to the Seller. Most often if the Seller has less iTrader references, it will be for a transaction between 2 trusted Gymmers. Hopefully the Buyer will be open to making an alternative selling arrangement.

-The rules are fairly simple , We have made this forum for any Gym member to post a list for cards they wish to purchase. The only people who will be allowed to reply to a members wants list will be "verified" Sellers or the Topic starter to negotiate or accept a offer.

-To see if you are on the verified sellers list look HERE

-To see how to become a verified seller read HERE

-The forum will be used for "pokemon" cards and merchandise only.

-The same rules apply here as you can only have 2 active buying threads . If you wish to open new threads and you already have 2 active please change the titles of the threads you no longer need and wish closed. Simply edit the title to "please close" or "please lock" or anything along those lines. Here’s how you do that: First of all, go up to your earliest post in the thread that you no longer need – post #1. Head to the bottom of that post and click on the link that says, “edit”. When the screen opens back up, you can go down to the bottom of the box and click on the link called, “go advanced”. When it opens a second time, you can edit the title of your thread to, “Please Close,” “Mods, Please Close,” or “Please Lock,” or any appropriate combo of the above. We’d like to ask you to not edit your first post’s contents – just the title – when you want to close out a topic. This is for your own protection in the case that something happens. If you don’t edit the contents, the mods can look at the original contents to help you whenever trade disputes happen.

-Those who have more than 2 topics open in the trade forum may find all their trade threads closed for a period of time.

-If you reply to your own topic excessively, you can find it being locked. Back to back posts are considered spam and should be avoided if possible. Also you may find your topic locked because you kept 'bumping' it within a short amount of time. If no one replies to your topic, chances are you currently do not have anything that people currently need. Don't despair, someone new might be interested later on.

- No buying of personal art work or fake cards.

-No pre buying of cards that have yet to be released.

- You must have the cards/items in your possession to post them on the site or to even offer them in a deal. (save on grief and aggrevation when the card you thought you were going to get never arrives)

-To be eligable for a reference on any sales the sale deal "must" be posted in the forum ,Only posting "pm'd you" is not acceptable and your ref will be deleted. POST ALL DEALS ON THE SELLING THREAD.

- Pokegym staff are never required to send first under any circumstances, We are trusted to uphold the site then we are trusted traders, buyers and sellers.

-The use have a middle man is not allowed as it causes to many problems. Each member is responsible to send their own side of a deal.

-Bumping more then three times in a row is excessive and against gym rules.

-Staff reserve the right to change these rules, and to edit, close, and/or delete any threads or posts, as is necessary.

Question. Verified sellers can start threads and post replies to buyers. Buyers can start threads, but if they want to buy something from a seller's thread, do they have the ability to post a reply? Being a verified seller, I do not know the answer to this question. But it would seem pointless for me to start a selling thread if the buyers can't reply to it. A speedy answer would be great. Thanks.

Yes if you are a verified seller you can reply to buyers posts as well as start your own buying thread. And buyer that are not verified sellers will be able to post replies only to their own buyers thread. In the sellers forum only verifed sellers can post new threads and anyone can buy off you.

Fast enough for ya?

Besides which pokemonforever - posting a new thread in this portion of the forum is for when you are looking for certain items, not for selling. ANYONE can post a thread here if they are looking to buy. Only verified sellers, and the original thread starter should be able to reply to these threads.

If you want to start a thread to sell pokemon items, you can do so in the Auction and Trade sub-forum. Anyone can reply to those threads (well ... one notable exception), but only verified sellers can post threads there. Do you see the difference?

Quick question - are signatures turned off in this sub-forum? It seems so - I just posted a reply (and had the 'show sig' option checked), and didn't see my own sig - then began looking at other threads and it seems all have the 'no sig' attribute.

If true, it means every poster has to manually add a signature...
