Ok, people have suggested this for quite a while... This is just a simple post of what I've found to be passed along the forums during my time here. If there's anything you'd like to add, just send me a PM.

Basic Text Card Format:
Everyone has there own basic card format, usually based off a previous member, that is used in their cards. I'll just keep this short, but there are several parts common in a post. I'll just post an Example to make things clear...

Example said:
Name Lv.?? ??HP [type]
Stage # (Evolves from name)

Poké-Power/Body

[?] Attack ??

Weakness: Resistance: Retreat Cost:

In Text based faking there are some generally accepted symbols for card creation to avoid over-use of the Energy Symbol smilies.
[R] = Fire, as F belongs to Fighting and R can also mean Red.
[W] = Water, as Water begins with W
[L] = Electric, because in the TCG it's referred to as Lightning
[P] = Psychic, because Psychic starts with P
[C] = Colorless, because Colorless starts with C
[G] = Grass, because Grass starts with G
[M] = Steel, because in the TCG it's referred to as Metal
[D] = Darkness, because Dark begins with D
[.] or [#] = Energy-less, because it happens to be the most popular options. [.] was used in PokeBeach scantilations, and [#] is the symbol used by the online program Redshark.
