The Buried Fossil counts as a Basic Pokemon. But otherwise it looks good, great strategy.

this deck seems kinda bad, unless you use it 2 on 2 you have either an active pokemon evolution spot and a really weak pokemon or your opponent has 5 evolving spaces on bench and you have a decent, though not too good, attacker. neither choice seems tournament worthy.

Unfurtanately this deck is better off as 2-2... but some stuff that will help....

More Kabutos, and Underground Lake

Omanyte/Omastar... Either Nyte, but SS Star, to help deevolve as needed...

And change Burried Fossil to Mysterious Fossil for a Fossil Mull deck...

MP Alpha, Desert Burn (C)- when your opponent has 5 or more prizes left, you may search your deck for a trainer card....

Now the ideal hand is...

Rare Candy/MP Alpha
Cradilly EX/Kabutops/MP Alpha(only if you have Candy!)/PETM

with more card options, it is easier to limit Mulligans and get an ideal hand....

It could only be attached to an evolved Pokemon, so therefore I gotta take out my Wynaut.

Linoone doesn't have to use a MP Alpha because it is already a better searcher.

And one more thing, this is a 2-on-2 deck, that's why I combined Cradily EX with Kabutops.

while it is true that Linoone is a better searcher, it is also tru that with my deck you can just Mull til you get a bood hand.... so you are stuck with a bad hand if you draw it, while I can try to acheive perfection....
