so he asked for a rematch but suddenly misty came in and demanded next match so ash stepped back and let her battle.

...and so the two of them ended up spending the next ten episodes training to defeat Firedon.

but as they trained they started to fall in love which was not good if they are to work together to beat firedon.

so they decided to work together and set thier romantic issues aside to beat firedon.

so with a kiss and a hug they rushed into the battle arena to face the mighty firehouse.
