Just know that originally I was going to play a weird variant which would involve Deoxys (yeah, I'm crazy) and Palkia, but I've vied to stick to Delta. Magmortar is almost autoloss, but hey, the deck is fun and I'm not running Flygon ex (nor do I think I want to).

Why does this deck have the name "Delta Reduction"?
I expected to see some old pokemon with the poke-body.
Also, have patience. It's not as fast as the ssbb board on gamefaqs.com.

Mainly because the deck revolves around reducing damage, with Reduction and with the recycling of Buffer.

I know. But the topic was nearly page 3, likely no one was going to see it at that point.

Quagsire (SW) might be a slightly better choice for countering Magmortar, but even with that you're going to have a really bad match-up. Fitting in a 1-1-1 or 1-0-1 of Blastoise d (CG) to cover your fire weakness might be the best option.

Thanks for the tip. I'll keep it in mind, try it, and see if it works.
