do YOUR friends know that you play pokemon?

All of my old school friends knows that I play pokemon... But yeah, I left school years ago and I dont really talk to them much since then....So yeah, my closest friends are all from Pokemon TCG so yeah......
 
I work for Toys'R'Us - Every one of my employees knows my passion for this game. If a guest has a pokemon question, they get me to come help so they can be properly helped.

When i hear over the walkie "Can you help a guest with pokemon?" i am more than happy to help them out. When i walk up, the employees always say "There is our Pokemon expert. He can help you out." Feels good to use my knowledge to help others. Kids and parents both appreciate having someone knowledgeable about the subject in the store. Yesterday i helped a parent who was confused because her kid wanted a "Raikou" but almost got him a "Raichu".

And all my friends know i play. Heck, most of them play themselves.

I met my current girlfriend because of pokemon. She plays the video game casually, but it was something we had in common to go off of. Been together for 6 months now.
 
Why not let them know? You're ashamed of playing a card game?

I don't go around saying "I play pokemanzzz!!!" But I don't leave it out if anyone asks what I do.

actually i only tell my real friends. and what i meant was that was my first day of highschool, thats not the best introduction if you know what i mean. and yeah and if someone asks what r ur hobboes i always would say "let me show you my pokemanz"
 
Lol I talk about myself playing Pokemon so often, I wore my City Championship Metal into school. Also all of my actual friends play with me, so I would have to say yes, my friends know I play.

Yep, they sure do. I'm old enough I could care less what "they" think. Its fun. Its relatively cheap as a hobby. Makes me happy. Damn what anyone else thinks.

Only my BEST friends now that I play pokemon.
Pokemon is not too popular in my school.
In my school, just announcing that you even have picked up a pokemon card within the last couple of months will get you made fun of. So you can imagine how hard it was to keep from showing people that I was in the news paper for playing pokemon.
