Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

DP-on | Decks after rotation.

Mwahahahaha...Luxray 1hits all of UMA with it's first attack, and you can either drop 2 Pluspower/Buck's Training or a counter-stadium if they have Snowpoint.

Talk about counter'd.

^Hee hee.
Yeah, I'm really liking that Magnezone, especially with that new promo one with Super Connectivity. The thing is, Super Connectivity Magnezone will probably take forever to come to the US. And also, Kaworu, that color is extremely annoying and difficult to read. Thanks for those spoilers though.

It's difficult to read on purpose, hence the reason it is a spoiler. Your supposed to highlight over it.

I do agree though, it all depends on how long it takes for it to appear in a set.

Plox is dead, long live GG

GG can abuse Azelf itself, and why not just use it with some nrg acceletrator ?
Also GG takes down Kingra. And if Luxrays bothering you, don't put down the Level X and you'll walk through Luxray with ease

Also GG takes down Kingdra.

Lolwut?

Seriously though, what? Are you saying GG can beat a deck that will do damage faster as them, constantly chug out 130 HP cheap attackers and can spread damage around to prevent a Gardy X nuisance? A deck that has a tendecy to tech Alakazam, too?

How about no?

Without anythink to discard and without claydol, kingra will run out of ammo pretty fast.
If you can keep the lock up, i'm pretyt sure kingra wll get problems

Yeah, go try and keep the lock up.
You do 20 damage for each 1 energy.
I do at least 40 damage for 1.

So I'll KO your Gardevoir, and whatcha gonna do then? Simply put, GG can't outspeed Kingdra next format.

Without DRE/Scramble, I agree with you. 3 energy attacks will the new 4 energy attacks and decks that use them will be much slower.

I feel this deck relies too heavily on Claydol. A good wager and a sniped (ko'd) Claydol could mean trouble for Kingdra.

I think it could be an even matchup depending on the situation and techs.
Plox can always Wager you down to 3 cards and Psylock which would make you much more conservative with the cards in your hand and cut off the Claydol.
Also, Gallade can OHKO a Kingdra in a bind for a quick prize, or just Sonic Blade for 2 for 80

Exactly, my point with the Plox matchup.
True, Plox is much slower. No getting around that. Togekiss can speed that up a lil at the right time, BUT a good Wager and Psy Lock can create a drastic turn of events in favor of Plox. Without Claydol to provide them a constant replenished hand they will be maxing at 40 which is a 3HKO or even a 4HKO against a Lv. X.
Not saying that Kingdra still doesn't have the upper hand, just saying that its reliance on Claydol is pretty big.

I think that the pixies are like three chinchillas who got together and started looking at each others
stats,Azchilla and Uxchilla look at Mechilla and say,"Holy Chinchillas Mechilla!!! You can do 200 damage!!!"
Mechilla then responds, "Yeah, but only if I'm Mechilla Lv.x and only if Azchilla lv.x and Uxchilla lv.x are out."
Azchilla says "Yeah your right, and to level up we have to be active." So the three chinchillas go home
and are never heard from again.

Will the format go back to how it was not long ago with Stage 1 decks dominating: Lucario / Blissey / Krikky / Bannette? Or the new Froslass?

Banette decks are forever dead without CG.

AMU is not surviving due to 2 factors:

1. Gardevoir PK being rotated out; it was the only reason AMU is popular in Japan.
2. Mewtwo Lv. X decks will be mega-popular. Why play a deck revolving around basics if you can't attack with them?

Ummmm no?

Why would anyone in their right minds play PLox after rotation? DRE and Scramble were the reason for PLox and GG's success.

Very slow.

In '07, the big thing was damage spread.

This year it was locking out your opponents.

Next year it will be acceleration, MAD FAST ACCELERATION.
Have you noticed that there are loads of cards now that deal with speeding up energy attatchment?

I will, and it will work, you need to change it a bit.
Shocking how uncreative some people are

The issue you have to look at is constantly being able to get energy on your fat 3 energy guys. DRE and Scramble did pretty much make GG. I've not seen a GG able to keep that acceleration without them.

I'm still not a believer of AMU, it doesn't have much going for it.
