Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

DP-on | Decks after rotation.

Magnezone. BDIF. End of story.

Mind backing up that statement? If you're going to refer to the Intense Fight In Destroyed Sky Magnezone + LVX, yeah, thats gonna take half a year till it hits...IF it hits because it might not be part of the main set. Also, what's your reasoning?

You wouldn't want to use IFIDS Zone. DP Zone gives free retreat, and in an all metal deck thats efficient. Add to that the Metal/Lightning energy trans the level X has, as well as Rotom/Electivire to keep it replenished and you have some nasty stuff going on.

And Free Paralysis. What card has EVER had free paralysis without a coin flip? This forces warp points and who in gods name plays Double Full Heal?

A good Zone build can run right through Kingdra, with proper stall and good draw.

Its too early to call it a BDIF, but it will be an archetype. Armaldo might stop it from being too powerful.

My Infrnape deck might able to take a advantage of this new format

With Kingdra hanging around, I doubt that.

Oh yeah, Zone WILL be a pretty good deck. But whether its good to rely on a LVX to do about everything, I do not know. Remember, if the LVX is priced, how is it going to win anything? Plus, the ability Kingdra has to spread a bit before hitting makes it hard for Zone to be consistant. Choosing the proper energy lines will be a problem as well.
Magnezone is good, but not as reliable as Kingdra.

BCIF next year....Milotic, the return of safeguard.

Seriously, i'm thinking of Kingdra, Milotic right now; marvel scale is going to be too good to pass up, it blocks God Blast, Magnezone's little Paralysis trick, any damage from an any lvl X's at all...I'll see you guys at worlds.

IMO these decks are meta:

Kingdra
Magmortar
Leafeon/Eeveelution

Kingdra beats Magmortar cause of weakness, but it loses to Leafeon and Eeveelutions. Magmortar beats eeveelution in my opinion. Its like RPS. UMA/AMU/MUA/MAU or whatever isn´t so good because there are many anti cards like milotic or luxray. Furthermore it is too expensive. GG wont played so much because we have no dre or scramble and its too slow without dre/scramble

The Pixies will probably be played a lot, but imo, they are WAY overhyped
i think the deck would be too inconsistnant setting up, and Mewtwo lvl X literally auto-wins the Pixies, so even if they do get big, people will just start playing Mewtwo lvl X and rip them apart

Kingdra probably will also be played, and we might see some empoleon around still

There will be some form of Lightning running around somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised to see some fun tricks with Lanturn and Tentacruel.

As I said above, Armaldo will be annoying to hit. Kingdra can't do much to it thanks to the body, it will be pretty nasty in the early game.

Thats why most Kingdra builds will be running Pluspower or Buck's. Its really the main weapon Kingdra can have against Armaldo and certain high-HP decks.
As for Mr. Mime, it'll only slow Kingdra down. But Kingdra can just charge one benched Kingdra while sacrificing something to Mime's luck-based attack. It won't kill Kingdra.
Armaldo might just be the best anti-deck-card in the format, particulary if Tentacruel and Lanturn become popular as well. Or Dragonite.

Isn't anyone considering just running Regirock and Stark Mountain with GG for energy accel? the deck is SLOWER but not really slow...

4/4/4 deoxys - attack/defense/speed/
2-2 claydol
2-2 bronzong

3 snowpoint stadiums
4 call energys
4 roseannes research
4 bubble coats
10 psychic energy

3 big problems with this deck - mewtwo x, bronzong, and gardevoir

any solutions to those problems?

the decks:

~Kingdra
~UMA(rich kids eat it up)
~Froslass variants
~Glaceon
~Blissey/Leafeon
~Tentacruel/Lanturn(eats Kingdra alive.)
~Spread decks (poleon, bronzong, etc.)
~Chomp
~GG 2 da suck
~Fossilz
~Magnezone
~Rhyperior
~Skittles
~RockBand

Just cuz they're up there doesn't mean any of those decks will go 'good', they're just decks I expect to see play in no given order. Kingdra and Froslass have the most appeal imo, though if Kingdra gets too big than Lanturn/Cruel will get pretty big as well. GG will see play cuz peeps don't want it to die, or are just now getting an X. Skittles will see play with loss of almost nothing, but will be hurt by the rich water environment. Chomp won't lose anything and will prolly gain something from LA. Spread will be HUGE with the revival of ATM Rock and so many good snipers in the format already. Speed is key next season so keep in mind decks like Blissey, Banette(ascension loss won't hurt it THAT much), and maybehhh Cario might come a knockin'.
