Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

"EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua" Pre-release @ Houston, Texas

Ok, I Like This....

~Houston....OK, I Like This....Don't Be Shy Give Me Your Opinion~

Keep these suggestions coming. :thumb: I will print out all of these posts and bring them down to Houston with me. If we have to, we can vote on the format of this "Side Event". Remember, anything to do with Nintendo "Game Cube" or "N64", I know nothing about. If you want something like this, you will have to speak with "Heroes Collectables" or Jim Parish about getting this set up.

All right keep these suggestions flowing to me.

I will be in Sugarland at "Heroes Collectables" for the "Sugarland City Championships" tomorrow. Come and play in the City Championship and we can chew over these "Side Events" for the "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua" Pre-release Tournament. :D

Take care and I will see you tomorrow at the "Sugarland City Championships". ;)

Let's play Some "Limited Events".....

 ~~Houston-We Had a Great City Championship @ Sugarland.....Now Let's Play Some "Limited Events"~~

Let's take a "Spring Break" from the pressures of playing for a "City Championship". We are going to have some fun at the "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua" Pre-release Tournament on Saturday, March 6, 2004 at "Heroes Collectables-Houston" on 1810 Dairy Asford. Chris showed us a great time in Sugarland at his "Heroes Collectables-Sugarland" store and I am sure he will do the same for for the "Pre-release Tournament". :thumb:

Many of you have been asking about the "Side Events". I have sanctioned the following tournaments as "Side Events":

"EON Modified Constructed Format" (60-Card Deck that You Bring) ($5.00-Entry Fee)

"Unlimited Constructed Format" (60-Card Deck that You Bring) ($5.00-Entry Fee)

"Limited Booster Draft or Sealed Deck" (You will Receive 6-Packs of the NEW CARDS to Make a 40-Card Deck Including Energy) ($15.00-Entry Fee)

These are the tournaments that I have sanctioned as "Side Events". We need at least eight players to start any of these tournaments. Prizes will be based on the number of players entered into each tournament.

We will have a "GBA: Ruby & Sapphire" Tournament that will be FREE!!!! :p This time we will not have Tri-Winners. After the 10-Minute Time Limit, players that are tied will start again with ONE Different POKEMON that was not used in the previous battle. First to die, loses. The prizes will not be as much as in the "City Championships".

Let's get ready to battle, "Limited Style" with the new cards from "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua". And most of all let's have some FUN.

Later.

The "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua" series of cards have arrived!!! I received shipment on Monday afternoon for the Houston event. I opened my box for judging. :D Do these cards look great??? YES, they do!!! And the "Pokemon ex" that are included in this series are awesome!!!!! There will be some SERIOUS changing of decks for the "State Championships" with the addition of this new series of cards. :nonono:

You guys are going to go NUTS when you see these cards and realize what is in this set. I hope that I will have enough packs to do the "Pre-release Tournament" and the "Booster Draft or Sealed Deck" side event.

We will have drawings through out the day for special cards. :thumb: And don't forget just by entering the "Pre-release Tournament", you will receive a special "Pre-release Promo Card" that you can only get by playing in the "EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua" Pre-release Tournament. I was sent only 65 of these cards.

I can't wait to hear the "aahhhss" and the "woooows" when these packs get opened. :) I hope to see you at the "Houston Pre-release Tournament" this Saturday, March 6, 2004 at 10:30am (Registration Starts) at "Heroes Collectables" on 1810 Dairy Ashford, Houston, Texas. Don't miss this one!!!

Hey Proffesor Birch, you willing to name some of the nonMagma/Aqua Pokémon in the set for us? We're kinda curious, ya know?

I can't tell you what the "Pre-release Promo" is or I will be in TROUBLE with Pokemon USA, Inc. You will just have to wait and open those packs on Saturday. :D

~ShinAkuma~

The rules for the 'EX Team Magma vs. Team Aqua" Pre-release says, "You will receive six packs of Ex Team Magma vs. Team Aqua to build a 40-card deck including energy". It does not say that your will receive six packs plus a "Pre-release Promo" to build a 40-card deck. So, no no no, you cannot use the "Pre-release Promo- ". Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh, I all most typed in the name of the promo card. Stop it with all of these PROMO questions.

ShinAkuma, you almost got me then!!!!! :p

:pokeball: Master Professor Birch :pokeball:

So um...,this promo card...is it shiny? Is it pretty? Is it something one would build a deck around? Is it Minty Fresh?
Ah, why am I worried about the PreRelease card anyways, it's common(it is, right?)! Anyways, I'm still wondering what ex's are in this set as some on the Japanese lists I see could become my new deck idea.
