A prerelease tournament has finally been brought to Iowa!
Location: Mayhem Collectibles; Ames, Iowa
Date: March 13, 2004
Time: Registration starts at 12:00 noon, Tournament starts at 1:00 pm
Entry Fee: $15
Side Event: Unlimited tournament, entry fee $5
This is an officially sanctioned Limited tournament, and the entry fee goes directly toward the purchase of six EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua booster packs (which are yours to use in the tournament and keep).
In a prerelease tournament, you receive your six booster packs and construct a 40-card deck using only the cards from those packs as well as provided basic Energy cards (Fighting, Fire, Grass, Lightning, Psychic, and Water). Trading these cards between players is not allowed until the end of the tournament.
The side event will be a sanctioned Unlimited tournament, and it will start after the prerelease tournament is finished. The entry fee will be used to provide as many prizes as possible (depending on attendance). Remember, an Unlimited tournament needs a 60-card deck, with every card usable except for Ancient Mew and _________'s Pikachu.
