The tournament will run so many rounds depending on how many people attend, which means we have no specific times to give you for the end time.

    Tournament Format
Players will compete in a number of rounds of Modified Constructed swiss play. The number of Swiss rounds run will depend on total attendance at the event. Yay! A GB side event! I'll definitely be there and be playing in both the main event and the side event. Who else is planning to play in the GB side event?

    *bump*... 2 days away!

2 questions about the GB tourney:

Are we allowed to use the "secret" berries (Ganlon, Salac, Apicot, and Petaya)? Ganlon and Salac can be gotten off of the bonus disc's Jirachi download and Apicot and Petaya can be gotten through Colosseum. Are we allowed to use Pokémon from R/S but with moves that can only be bred onto them by Colosseum Pokémon (it would not be a Colosseum Pokémon... it would just be a Pokémon with a moveset that requires Colosseum in order to get a certain move or moves)? Thanks.

52 players...not too shabby. It seemed everyone had a good time except for a player getting DQ'ed, and some computer trouble early on. Hope to see you guys at future tourneys.

Yeah, we had to manually repair and place results for round one after a 10-Under player's date of birth was not being accepted and reverted to an older one, one that placed her into the 11-14 group. Our apologies... TMS sucks. Go bug Pokemon USA on that one. :D

Had a great time yesterday after the single elimination, especially when Chris Bock was trying to kill his Gameboy SP. Too bad his batteries ran out before he could make a dent into it. Thanks for coming out!

Ahh I was sitting next to the kid who got DQ'ed when him and Stevie were crackin on eachother and then he started to diss on this little girl for not moving to play Stevie and then OOPS someone told Heidi and he got DQ'ed, he kinda deserved it though for dissing on a little girl. Other than that the tournament was awesome, except for seeing like 100 BAR's.

Ten year old girls should not be subjected to being called what this boy called her.

And instead of "someone told Heidi" that should be "EVERYONE told Heidi." Even the girl's mother who was sitting right behind the kid who said it.

Yes, the player was warned about his unsportsmanlike conduct, but apparently it continued and it resulted in a disqualification. He did apologize to the staff, myself, and I believe the targets of his language at the end of the day. Let's just leave it at that.

He intentionally drew in the fifth round of swiss against Khym and just missed the top eight cut after the sixth round.
