Poliwrath returns with the help of some Big Basic Pokemon
to support it. There are many Supporter Cards in this
deck, so the Poliwrath lineup is 4-4-4 to reduce Supporter
"Traffic Jams" because you can only play one Supporter
per a turn.

Poliwrath's Poke-Power "Plunge" is the star. "Once during
your turn (before you attack), if Poliwrath is on your
Bench, you may flip a coin. If heads, take all Energy cards
attached to your active Pokemon, if any, and attach them
to Poliwrath. Then switch Poliwrath with your active Pokemon."

At this point, Poliwrath is fresh and powered up and you
can use Pokemon Nurse on your benched hurt Pokemon
to heal it up without losing precious Energy.

Miracle Sphere Alpha can only be used on XATU, but it is a
rather nice card anyway. If you attach one Electric Energy,
one Fighting Energy, and one Fire Energy to Xatu,
Miracle Sphere Alpha's attack will heal Xatu of 30
damage, and do 40 damage to the Defending Pokemon,
and the Defending Pokemon will also be Confused.

Sceptile's "Lizard Poison" can be any type of Energy.
So it is easy to add Water Pokemon into this deck
to counter Fire decks. Sceptile has Water Resistance
and Scyther has Fighting Resistance.

Kyogre ex Promo # 1 is a last minute secret weapon,
bring it out when your Opponent has only one Prize
left and a hurt bench because of all those retreats
away from "Lizard Poison."

12 Grass Energy

Doug almost never builds a deck with this much Evolution in it.
Notice the extreme drawing power to get it going.
The idea is complex but powerfull when it gets going.

Sceptile's Poke-Power Energy Trans:
"As often as you like during your turn (before you attack),
move a Grass Energy card attached to 1 of your Pokemon
to another of your Pokemon. This power can't be used if
Sceptile is affected by a Special Condition."

Dragonite's Poke-Power Tailwind:
"Once during your turn (before you attack), if Dragonite is
on your Bench, you may reduce your Active Pokemon's
Retreat Cost to 0."

Blissey's Poke-Power Happy Healing:
Once during your turn (before you attack), choose one of
your Benched Pokemon and flip a coin. If head, count the
number of Energy attached to Blissey and then remove
that many damage counters from the chosen Benched
Pokemon. This Power can't be used if Blissey is affected
by a Special Condition."

Sceptile's "Energy Trans" can move ALL your Energy to
one Blissey. Then Blissey can flip for "Happy Healing"
which could take off 30, 40, 50, 60, or more damage.
Then ALL the Energy can be moved to another Blissey
and you can flip again. However, Blissey cannot heal
your Active Pokemon. This is where Dragonite is needed,
its "Tailwind" allows you to retreat for free ONCE every
turn. Pokemon Nurse is handy early in the game to buy
you time, and later when your flips fail.

Umbreon wanders in and sees Espeon looking at the Decks.
Umbreon "What do you think?"

Espeon "What would happen if you took out 2 Chansey ex
and replaced it with 2 Mewtwo ex or some other Pokemon ex?
You could remove 4 Grass Energy and replace it with
4 Rainbow Energy..."
Umbreon "Hmm... Mewtwo could recover Grass from the Discard
Pile, and Sceptile could move Rainbow Energy because it is
counted as a Grass type of Energy."

Espeon "Or maybe the unreleased Dragonite ex and/or the
R&S Holo Scepitle #11 could fit into this deck somewhere..."

Slowpoke and Town Volunteers recover your favorite
Pokemon from the discard pile so you can use them again.

A lot of Pokemon in this deck manipulate Energy in
different ways, especially Alakazam's Energy Jump:
"Energy Jump Once during your turn (before you attack)
move an Energy card from 1 of your Pokemon to
another of your Pokemon. This Power can't be used
if Alakazam is affected by a Special Condition."

Kyogre ex and Dugtrio both do 10 damage to everybody's Bench.
Nice, since Feraligatr does 70 damage to hurt Pokemon.
Dugtrio gives some protection against Lightning Pokemon.
Lickitung is another one of those Neutral Big Basic Pokemon
that Doug is using as a replacement for Babies.

On the Alakazam deck, cut down on the singles! You have 14 different Pokemon cards (counting same name, different card as separate), and exactly 5 have exactly 1 twin. Especially with only 1 of your Stage 2, this deck will successfully get up and running maybe 1 game in 10. The Trainer and Energy engines are fine, but having so many Pokemon singles will come back to haunt you.

Attempting to get around these Legendary Bird's Pokemon Powers.
Pichu moves Basic Energy from one Pokemon to another, and
Energy Switch does the same thing. Hyper Potion is used instead of
Pokemon Nurse; only discarding energy that is easy to replace...
Cystal or Rainbow Energy would be helpful, but Juggler needs lots of Basic
Energy...

Lady Outing "Search your deck for up to three different types of basic
Energy cards, show them to your opponent, and put them into
your hand. Suffle your deck afterwards."

Mayumi Net Search "Search your deck for up to three Basic Pokemon
that do not share the same type, show them to your opponent
and put them in your hand. Shuffle your deck afterwards."

Thanks to Nick15 and the hard work he puts on his website:
www.fakecard.com
He has actually translated Japanese Cards for us to look at
that are not out in English yet.
For those wanting to do their homework for the Sandstorm Pre-release
this is a blessing -- Thanks Nick!!!

Thanks to Nick15, here is Wobbuffet:

Wobbuffet [80 HP] (Basic Psychic Pokemon)
[ ] Poke-Body: Power Protection - Prevent all effects of attack,
including damage, done to Wobbuffet from EX-type Pokemon.
[PCC] Punch-Drunk (50 Damage) Wobbuffet does 10 damage to itself (Do not
apply Weakness or Resistance).
WEAKNESS: Psychic
RETREAT: CC
27/53 Rare #161 [Atsuko Nishida]

Weakness Guard is interesting in Mewtwo ex Vs Mewtwo ex battles.
Crystal Shard is not really necessary since Wobbuffet's attack
does not apply Weakness or Resistance.

Rainbow Energy can count towards Sharpedo's Water Energy requirement
and be tossed out as a Darkness Energy as well, unless Pokemon USA
changes that Ruling later...

This is a Rainbow type deck which in the past has been difficult to play.
The newer cards tend to be more forgiving though...
The Fighting Energy is to make Lady Outing more efficient, and with
Rainbow Energy and Fisherman, Hitmonchan should be playable.

Only one Sneasel ex because of all the other Pokemon that demand
Darkness Energy as well.

Rainbow Energy was rewritten in Aquapolis
to clarify that it does provide Darkness and Metal Energy.

This is a multicolor deck.
Juggler fills your discard pile up for Mewtwo ex.
Use Power Plant to take advantage of your discard pile.
Use Oracle to bring out Pokemon that your Opponent is weak against.
This deck is vulnerable to Sandstorm's Wobbuffet, which cannot be
hurt by EX-type Pokemon.

Bob Paxton won First Place at the R&S Challenge side event
in Orlando using these same Pokemon in his deck. He used
other trainers, including Strength Charm which works very good
with Hitmonchan early in the game against Neutral Pokemon
like Skitty. Hitmonchan also guards against Sneasel ex.

The very strange 2 -- 4 Magikarp Gyarados lineup is an attempt to
prevent the very weak Magikarp who has only 30 HP from being
the only Pokemon in your opening hand.
Four Gyarados make it easier to find the evolution.

Pichu can stall for a turn and help power up a new Pokemon.

Scizor is going to be a little bit slower starting up without Cleffa Neo.

Oran Berry and Potion keep Scizor happy and healed.

Fast Ball is an option to replace Professor Elm's Training Method.

10 Fighting Energy

Starmie is good against Scizor.
Apricorn Maker finds two "Ball" cards which you could use right away. This takes
up a fair amount of room, but "thins" your deck quickly ... interesting....

Hariyama hits EX-type Pokemon and Delcatty for 80 damage.

Thanks to Nick15, here is Sandstorm Wailord ex:

Wailord EX [200 HP] (Stage 1 Water Pokemon)
[C] Depth's Accomplice (0 Damage) Remove 3 damage counters from Wailord
EX. Then switch Wailord EX with a Pokemon on your Bench. (If you have no
Benched Pokemon, you can't use this attack.)
[WWWC] Pulling Tide (100- Damage) This attack does 100 damage minus 10
damage for each damage counter on Wailord EX.

4 Metal Energy
14 Fighting Energy

Skarmory with a Metal Energy will not take Bench damage from Groudon ex.
Fighting Cube 01 gives Groudon ex another attack that is easier to power up.
Use Groudon as a shield out front while you put Energy on your Benched
Pokemon then Super Scoop Up Groudon before it faints.
Don't retreat Hitmonchan back to the bench when it is hurt because
Groudon will knock it out anyway...

4 Potion
2 Water Cube 01

16 Water Energy

Another deck for those powerful but hard to handle Pokemon:
Nintendo Promos # 1 and 2. This time, we tackle Kyogre ex.
Slowbro has a Poke-Power "Dense Body" that stops Kyogre ex's
bench damage from hurting Slowbro.
Blissey can heal itself up from any bench damage it receives using
it's Happy Healing Poke-Power.
Water Cube 01 gives Kyogre another attack that only requires one energy.
More Potions and Oran Berries means Kyogre can last longer out
front before it goes down fighting...

what exactly is this topic about? are you posting random decks, or do you have all these decks biult?
