Ok it was ruled recently that Garchomp got the added damage from his Pokebody "Ranbow Scales" when attacking a pokemon's weakness that has a Fire and Holon FF attached to it.

    Heres the link to ruling:

My question is: Doesnt Holon FF take away that weakness? This is similar to effects/pokebodies/anything else that reduces retreat cost on pokemon and pokemon that increase it.

Since the FF is taking away that weakness, Garchomp has nothing that it can do to add that additional damage due to that weakness not being there.

Am I wrong in my assumption?

    Holon Energy FF

You are correct. I was thinking of the Holon Energy that prevents effects.
    I'll correct that.
