Long story short, heart failure
Didn't die, just passed away ;]
R.I.P, u were funny
My dad was very heratbroken by his passing, as he was a lifelong fan and friend with George.
You will be missed George.
I just got the news from my mom a minute ago. He was so funny. Sad that he's gone.
He'll live on forever stuck on someone's shed roof.
If a turtle is without his shell, is he naked or homeless??
Why do we drive on parkways and park in driveways??
Two of George's many many queries. I will miss him and his comedy. He was a comedic icon. He was the very 1st SNL host in 1975. Funniest man alive at the time.
wasn't he just here a minute ago?
rest in peace dude; thanks for the laughs...
I read about George Carlin's death Sunday night via Yahoo. Of course the first commercial I see on tv is the one that can't say a word cause it is one of the 7 words that can never be said on television. Thank you George for the many laughs I got from watching or listening to you. R.I.P.
**** **** **** **** ********** ************ ****.
Looks like the 'Gym nails them all. :frown:
The funny part was that for the most part those words still can't be said on TV before the watershed. The less funny part is that memetic mutation will ensure Carlin is to the general populace (in)famous for those seven words and those seven words alone, to the exclusion of all his other work. Shame.
EDIT: Actually, having tried them all, there's one it doesn't nail. Leaving them all starred out for hilarity though.
Goodnight, sweet prince. ; _ ;
Dang. Man, that's sad.
He was one of the prime social commentators of the 20th century. It is indeed a bit of a shame that he is most remebered for a skit that couldn't be mentioned on a family forum like this one, and an even greater shame that there is probably no-one alive that can fill his boots.
Rest in peace, George.
R.I.P. George Carlin.
I was watching "It's bad for ya" on Youtube when a friend called me and told me =(
It was pretty good though, a fine way to end,
Except that I already mentioned it. And got away with it.
Separate names with a comma.
