Top 8 got invites this year.
Actually in masters top 16 got invites because of a pairing mess up.
haha... yea dude
i was actually part of the pairings mess up in the top 16..
i kinda laughed when it happened. i was like,
"so yea.. you did mispair us, but my opponent still beat me fair and square, so is it really worth giving an invite over?"
but heck, wutev... it's an invite im not complaining.
i found out later i got a rankings invite anyway.. but hopefully the extra invite got passed down to somebody
