Godevoir EON PERFECTED

If anything, you need fisherman with Delcatty. That gives you a more immediate boost that you can use to replenish your card drawing power. Town Volunteers should only be used to get pokemon back from the dead. With my playtesting, I noticed you only need copycat to prevent decking yourself. Perhaps you may notice you don't need it much either, that way 4 Oak's Research would be enough, and open up some more spaces.

Copycat has a better place than you think, I helped test this deck, so I have an idea of how it works. In fact, after your opponent is done delcatting like crazy, you can get an excellent draw off of copycat.

Ive come to the conclusion after doing testing etc this is the best list to run for godevoir

17 Psychic
1 Warp
1 Boost

4 Copycat
3 Oaks Research
2 Elms training method
4 Potion
2 Nurse
3 Oracle
1 TV
1 Fisherman

2 Skitty
2 Delcatty
2 Wobbuffet (SS)
3 Wynaut
4 Ralts (SS)
4 Kirlia (1 Life Drain 1 Link Blast 2 Super Psy)
4 Gardevoir (2 R/S 2 EX)

This is list is a BEAST and the most consistant version yet. I really dont think this can et much better until the next set comes out.

If you and your opponent are running Delcatty, I can't see a legitimate use for copycat. If anything, you need to thin your hand. Professor Oak's research is a more practical card, or perhaps even Desert shaman for disruption.

if you aren't running Delcatty - well ... why aren't you? Then I guess you would need copycat.

If you are running Delcatty and your opponent isn't, draw power shouldn't be a problem, too much draw might be more of a problem. Then I guess copycat might come in handy when your opponent has few cards.

Either way I guess it'd be a good idea not to get rid of it entirely, but perhaps 1 or 2 would suffice.

Copycat would be BETTER if they are playing delcatty then its netting you card advantage most of the time. I mean it doesnt matter if they got 2 more cards off my hand if I it means I get a quicker setup.

No arguement there, because of delcatty, copycat is the premier drawing trainer in the format. If no one saw the abusibility of delcatty, oak may have surpassed it.

The things I wonder about are jumpluff and exeggutor. Will gardevoir be able to beat these decks considering their dependence on having mass energy in play. If they can surprize your godofwar ex and get in a few lucky flips you're gone, and the other gardevoir can't really cover you. I guess that's why mewtwo has a place in the deck, but I guess we'll let the metagame decide that.

Imitation is said to be the sincerest form of flattery. Your final list is basically what 'everyone' seems to be running.

This is the 'new Gatr'...

How do I get owned by mirror? I mean by playing 4 boost I can screw myself against decks that ARENT mirror. It dilutes the deck PRETTY bad I mean I could possibly see playing 2 but no more then that. I tried a version with 4 boost and it just wasnt very effective.

Now with nurse it might be a little counter productive but think about some deck finally gets 130 on my godevoir ex and I drop Nurse attach a Psy, use the other godevoirs power and do 50. thats pretty good I think ;\. Also its synergy with the normal godevoir is good too.

Rare Candy seems REALLY iffy to me. I mean granted turn 2 godevoir is great and all but with the draw power at the moment I dont know if the deck could support that sorta engine. being all the drawing is supporter other then delcatty and what not.

Weakness guard would be great against mirror but thats about it. I mean I cant run it just for mirror unless the field starts becoming more then 25% Godevoir then I could think about it ;\ but at this time theres so many other decks I cant use that because its just a dead card.

acutally potion/oran berry is whatever you wish. Both have thier ups and downs to me

Not everyone runs Delcatty. Its space, its lots of space to get the guy running and stuff to be efficient enough. Sure, it rocks with Oracle, but in the meantime, your opponent can just use trainers to accomplish. Plus, they don't have to run so many energy.

Anyway. I think oak's research is the best draw... Desert Shaman is AWESOME. EVERYONE should be running this. I run 4 in most of my decks.

I wouldn't run Rare candy. Sure its good, but sometimes having Kirlia is real nice. I'd run ALL the Super Psy version, its just the best out of them all.

Boost is great, your right. There's a few things that shuts Gardevoir down, and Gardevoir is CERTAINLY NOT the new Gatr... there are things that can beat it, and there are things that put up a fight with it nicely. Gard's a nice deck though, but I can see the format still being varied enough. Also, I just don't get Nurse. I mean, if you're swarming... its alright, but most decks can take out gardevoir in 2 hits. If your swarming, and they can heal a little too, its harder for you to win. You NEED gardevoir RS to keep things rolling throughout the game. If you start attacking with him too early, you may be in trouble.

Tiredness now.. I'm starting to ramble lol. Swarming with Gard is cool as long as you can get in at least 60 dmg a turn. You're right in taking out Mewtwo... he's not so great in this kind of deck.

Ive come to realize most people DONT play delcatty now which signifigantly making Oaks Research better then Cat imo so I think Ill go with you on that. I dont know about desert shaman I mean it can be good but if my opponent has delcatty out its bad or I unluckily give them something they need. I guess I could try it out thanks for the suggestions.

There is one little advantage to copycat, though. It helps against blaziken/exeggutor, which needs the heavy card drawing in order to get set up.

Please forgive me, because I don't mean to give any offense, but I can't see that being much of an archtype in this format. More of a rogue deck in my opinion. Can't see that deck getting past an Armaldo deck, whereas the gardevoir I can.

Eggy seems PRETTY good against armaldo to me ;\ also the deck is a very strong archetype, tier 1 infact, it can deal with most EVERYTHING =D

Armaldo isn't that really good, I played my Blaze/Eggz against one last night, and it did fine against it. just have egg wit 3 nrg and u should be fine .. 2 flips and i usually get 2/3 or 2/4 .. 4 is nice to have though. Its all about Delcatty though, out of my 4 games, my blaze eggs is 4-0 .. Defeated Armaldo,Gardy,Omastar and a Raichu EX .. and all of those games, I have finished the game with at least a 9 card hand, and played 3 blaziken with at least 5 Fire NRG on Exeggutor.

Armaldo may seem strong, how ever its weak. It's not like Dark Vileplume like some people might think it might be like. Also, by the time you get Armaldo out, it will be too late, because i would already have Jugglered at least twice and used Delcatty at least twice also, and at least 2-3 Combuskens going, with a 2-3 Blaziken Swarm, or just ready to deliever a Atomic Bomb with Exeggutor. I do believe Blazekin/Eggs is a Tier 1 Deck in EON ... Along with Gardevior,Sceptile TeCh.

Well, this isn't the first time someone disagreed with my opinions, and I certainly have been proven wrong lots of times before. I only see my own metagame, mostly from my own area, I think that's the problem. In any case, I do agree that the first to get Delcatty running will probably end up the winner, and I think a Gardevoir/Delcatty deck will be the hardest to deal with.

Delcatty is AMAZING. Hands down. Best draw in the format.

As for Armaldo or whatever its called...I actually like the card alot, but am unsure how viable it is overall...I dont know. I think its debatable. Dont count it out yet really. Get it active and hit a Desert Shaman for some fun times.

Blaziken Exeggcutor is not only a Tier 1 deck, but IMO, the top deck in the format, beating out Godevoir as it has a distinct advantage when facing it IMO. It hands down will always be a force.

Run 1 boost, you can Oracle it. No more. MAYBE Rare Candy, but im not a fan.

The biggest problem with armaldo is that it lacks raw power, both the godevoir and blaziken decks have this in spades. A 60 damage attack really doesn't cut it now, and it's a stage 2, which means that people can get built up before the armaldo comes out. Once the gardevoir comes out, the only supporter you'll probably need is a pokemon nurse, otherwise, it's building back up attackers with delcatty or any supporters you can play.

I hope you mean do the desert shaman first, then make it active, because once it is active, neither player can use supporters. That's why it does so well with Delcatty, because your opponent has no draw power otherwise (due to no non supporter drawing power, unless the opponent is running Delcatty as well). The person running Armaldo is ready for that, but the opponent is usually caught unawares.
