What's so difficult in building an own list?
Everybody knows what's in a Plox deck and most people know how a good Trainer engine works, if not, look at all that different decklist articles here in the PokeGym.

    3 Pachi
    1 Tauros
    4 Ralts
    2 Kirlia
    3-1 Gardy/LV X
    2 Gallade
    2-2 Claydol
1-0-1 Dusknoir (or other tech of your choice like Omastar MD, Blastoise d, Dugtrio CG . . . whatever helps)

    4 Wager
    4 Rare Candy
    4 Celio's/Bebe's
    3 Roseanne
3 Any combination of Windstorm or Counter Stadium depending on your meta
    2 Warp Point
    2 Night Maintenance

    4 DRE
    2 Scramble
    2 Fighting
    8 Psychic

I don't know if that is 'PLOX' or not, I call them all GG anyway. It's probably not the best list, but it's a start. I used to play something fairly close to this and did ok with it.

And why exactly should anyone who put all the work into a deck that made t4 at a state or regional just give you their list? :nonono:

Build your own list and post it in the deck help fourm. People aren't just going to "give" you a list. >.<

Sorry to break it to you but I didn't just expect to get one for free.... I know that there is a lot of time and effort put into buildng a good deck, therefore wouldn't EVER post a thread on pokegym asking for a free list that made t4 at a mafor tourney.

BTW buying it payed off bigtime as it got 4th at states and won 2 states. I't must be interesting to not have a real life and just be able to work on decks all day. >.< I guess no one cares. :/

I would never just use someone else's deck anyways!
To me, a deck is something that grows on you as the season progresses. You learn its own personal strengths and weaknesses as you play with it. I personally have memorized my entire list so I know the ins and outs of it when I'm in a tight spot.

I can memorize any deck list just after a few times using it.... its really not that hard, infact I don't even try... :/

Ähm... what is the "big effort" in creating a good list of a well-known meta deck? o_O
Pokémon lines are pretty clear, there are just a few trainers that very in their quantity from list to list (and most times there isn't a 'better' or 'worse' but a matter of 'personal style' - some people like to play PlusPowers in their decks, other rather want to have more draw).

If you build a rogue deck which needs lots of playtesting against a lot of different matchups, it's another case, but Plox is something that's known to work.

A friend made his Plox deck for a MD tournament in a the train (because he didn't want to reveal his real Nationals deck and needed something to play), sitting about 5-10 minutes on writing the list, and he won unbeaten.

Where is the point of the game if you aren't able to build a deck by yourself? Does it mean anything to win if it's neither your own deck nor your team's deck, but a very standard meta deck with a netdecked/bought list? To me it doesn't.

Na, i had this list before and just changed it a bit in the train.
I had spend at least another 10 minutes to build one for testing purposes, makes a total of 20 minutes

    Seriosly xD

    4 Ralts
    2/3 Kirlia (i prefer 3, consistancy ftw)
    3 Gardevoir
    1 Gardevoir LvX
    2 Gallade

    22 Claydol

    1 Tauros CG
    1 Phione MD

    4 Candy
    3 Wind/Gym/Whatever
    2 Night

    4 Bebe
    4 Wager
    3 Roseanne
    2 Steven

    4 DRE
    2 Scramble
    6 Psychic
    1 Fighting

Should be pretty clear till here, if you seriosly couldn't have figured out this one for yourself, go back into your earth hole :nonono:

Now fill it up with call nrg / more starters / warp points / tech lines / more supporters / what do i know and youre good to go

There was a difference as the Plox I bought was the only one that could consistantly beat Magmortar at the time and was very different from the other G&G at the time. Just because the difference is small doesn't mean its not there. BTW there is a HUGE difference in tossing a quick deck for a BR with out any testing, and doing it for something like states. -_-

Yea the difference was you paid between 10-20 dollars for your list.

My god,its a kids card game,it dosent take THAT much thought to come up with a stradegy, test it against other known stradegies, and play it.You buying your list shows you dont have the compability to even understand that.

I guess thats why your bro is better, will always be better than you in everyway in this game.

The list you bought was the Plox list that now is the standart one ?
Just interested in this one^^ I thought beating magmortar was more about playing smart ?

And I never really understood these old G&Gs anyway, why the **** would someone need more than 2 Gallades.

e:/ @ the guy above me

Give him a break, its his decision if he buys a lst or not.
Andif it was not about a generell Plox list but one that could beat mortar consistantly, something that all Plox players had problems with, i can somehow understand him. And sure its a kids card game, but the prices and ranking points are for real, and maybe investing this money payed off for him ?

I wouldnt do something like this and I wouldnt sell my decklists, either they are secret or I show them around.
Also I'm helping anyone who asks me to do so, and I found a solution for every metagame this year so far. (7th place europe / roque all year )

But if he felt he needed to do this, his decision, so stop picking on him. Seriosly, this gets soo old.
And even if he bought the list, he still needs to play is right etc, its not like he didn't do anything by himself.

And sometimes it really takes this much to come up with a strategy.
You did this entire eevee thread and hyped them, and now you're saying they're to slow etc.
So you probably also don't have what it takes, because their are eevee decks that are very strong.

Stop acting like every idiot could build a tier1 deck in a few minutes, thats just not true.
Building a GG that could consistantly beat Mortar WAS something that most GG players had problems with, so his list probably was better and so it was somehow valuable and not smething that you could throw together in a few minutes

Actually, they charge $25 (for a straight-up list) or $50 (for a custom list + UNLIMITED strategy discussion), which makes the whole scenario even more hilarious.

    //you're welcome

He said he won 2,just going by what he said. Also making a deck only takes a few minutes,I guess its interesting not to ahve any SKILL to amke a simple deck list and do well with it.
