Congrats to Mikey for defeating me by one.

I couldn't see doing this without protecting my Magikarp on my bench, which led to Bastiodon, which led to space issues.

Props to Mikey for the Foretress idea, and take it home buddy!

Other than Mikey and me, did no one else consider the output damage of Gyarados' second attack with the beauty of Forretress??

Well, Fish, I was using Unown P for the same effect, but figured I HAD to protect the Karps on the bench, otherwise any Emp deck or spread deck would wreck me completely.

Other than Bastiodon, how do you protect the bench???

Not sour grapes though, I missed some tricks, and Mikey deserved to win.

(Knockout 2 energy pickup and 1 Unown P, and add 3 cynthia's and I probably get a better first #, live and learn)

Yeah, that is why I went with 3 Cynthia's... figured this might be an issue and a way to abuse the extra draw! Just looking over my opponent's list, the 2 Rare Candy sticks out as those Carps can be picked clean and this really goes against the standard 4 Candies for the TOgekiss lines!

Oh well, no sour grapes either... it is always nice to have us Grandpas in here with the Kids!

Ah, good stuff. Nice list Vince, interesting idea. Just more consistency and you would have been good. I'm surprised my card use wasn't a 5 though or my list a 9. Was hoping for at least a 16 this round, but I can't complain. Good luck to everyone that made it through to T32!

Hey guys, I'm currently in the process of grading the next division, but let me say how much fun it was to grade this group. Some nice ideas all-around, and four close matches (three of which were VERY close).

Yeah, the grandpas fought hard, but no dice! You guys almost pulled what Blazing Monkey did...Twice!
