do we have Target? Guess you didn't get a chance to check their corporate website as opposed to the shopping one... took a few mins of digging but as they say ..

If anyone who manages to pull a Sensei wants to spread the wealth a little I very much doubt we will see those promo's here .. all donations accepted.

Well,since I have to collect for 4 collections,I`m very grateful to have enough to cover them with just one of each left(already spoken for).Well,just two extra Whismur`s actually.If I didn`t need 16 of them(or 4 of every card for mine and my kids` collections)I definately wouldn`t have minded sending you some.

Well went to Target today...

Jerk at the Snack Bar only gave us two (we bought two Icees)
I was suprised that they weren't that expensive so I don't mind going every day after school for one if I have to :D

The coupon entitles you to a free frame wiht purchase of either
-EX: R/S Booster
-EX: Sandstorm Booster
-EX: Dragon Booster
-EX: Team Magma vs Team Aqua
-Collector's Tin
-Theme Decks

This does NOT include the independently packaged boosters/promo sets as it doesn't ring up with the coupon on the register since the UPC on the special packs aren't from Nintendo.

However if you are interested in those 2 Booster w/promo deals they're on sale for $6 until Saturday. (Pretty good)
Coupon expires 4/30/04, EX: Team Magma vs Team Aqua will be available 3/15/04

I like these type of things :D
 
there's just one little problem with these types of things... you can't get them where there aren't target stores. which sort of leaves us canadians (and i assume europeans) up the creek without a paddle...
 
'pro Funny i thought Target's owners were French.....i'll see if i can get lucky and snag quantity (got enough to cover my boys and a few extra but not extra enough to ship over).
 
Well, I went to one Target at lunch, bought me an Icee and walked around with it. Got a Torchic.
Grabbed a second Icee for the road and got a Treecko.
They wouldn't let me buy any cards seaperate, nor did they volunteer to give me a stack of 20. :(

Went to the other Target after work and bought me an Icee. Checked the card (without opening it), saw it was another Torchic and asked to trade it. The lady let me and handed me... another Torchic. Asked to trade it again.. she let me... and handed me another Torchic. Bah. Didn't want to bother her more, so just took it and walked around with my Icee.

Went back up there when I was finished, bought a fourth Icee and got... another Torchic.

They wouldn't let me buy any seaperate either... :(
 
Hint: Don't buy seperate. Ask for 20 Icees. Pay for 20. Ask for the cards. Tell them to keep the cups.

BJJ: That was a BS internet rumor started to hurt Target. The rest of it is not true either. They did not block donations to a charity. Don't believe what you hear on the internet.

That does not compute. Paradox overload. Must run to Target for promo cards, i mean Icees..... Oh darn they're closed now.

Gah... Wish I had that much money to blow on a few Pokémon cards (espically when I only need two more...)


So, what does everyone think of the frames? They seem to be really good quality to me - I just wish they didn't have the Pokémon-e logo on them so I could use them for other cards (although I supposed I could turn them around)... I'm hoping that they still have some of the frames left once M/A comes out so I can get a bunch of 'em free...

BTW - If anyone is actually planning to do this, you should round up 20 kids and give the Icees to them... ;)

I'd sure hate to be working the Snack Counter whenever some Pokemon Player yells "Free Iceeees!"

Every bargain hunter in the store would stampede poor little old me...

Hello..

I went to the local Target store...

I ordered 10 medium drinks, they charged me for three and gave me10 cards...

I later bought 10 medium drinks and gave the cups away.....

I now have 20 cards... I opened one of the packs and got a mudkip. I used the coupon to purchase three Pokemon Ex products (booster packs) and I got the Pokemon 4 card holder free...

To back up what BJJ763 said this does work. I walked into the Target last night and got 20 of the promos 5 of each, paid for 20 Icees, but only took a couple of the cups for me and the kids. The lady was even nice enough to let me go through the promos and move the cards around in the packaging so I made sure I got 5 of each. :thumb: Sometimes it doesnt hurt to ask. ;)
 
It seems that the way I received my PROMO'S, top all yours by far...Just this past weekend I attended the Chandler, AZ "City Championship" and after the tourney, stopped off in the Target there in the shopping center and picked up the rest of the PROMO'S that they had in a box with other miscellaneous boosters and got them for free...I spoke with one of the managers and asked them if they were for sale?? When she told me that they were give aways, she told me that I can go ahead and take them ALL!!! :)

Now that's sweeter than YOOHOO!!! Catch ya later, over and out...oh yes, B4 I forget...the 4 promo's are from the 13 (25) promo card set release earlier in the year @ local 7-11's in JAPAN!!!
