Well, I was just starting up Mewtwo Returns the other day, and was listening to the history of Mewtwo, the part where he goes over what happaned i nthe last movie, when I realized, I've heard the voice before! The voice of Mewtwo in Mewtwo Returns is none other than the person who voices Yami Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh!

Weird how we try and separate the two games, but they still end up having ties to one another..

well, it's not just those two shows.

I noticed a lot of teh people that do the voices for animes do multiple anime series. Take teh guy who voices 009 in "Cyborg 009." He is the same guy who voiced for many other characters in different series like (dare I say it) Digimon.

The games are still as seperated as ever. I don't think cartoon voice actors ever can change that.

That's not entirely surprising, considering YuGiOh! is translated and voiced-over by basically the same writers and cast of Pokémon(what with it being handled by 4Kids, of course). If you stop and listen, you'll be able to easily pick out the actors who voice the different characters.

Ted Lewis, who voices Bakura also has done the voice of Giovanni and Tracy(and also the stadium announcer for both Pokémon Stadium games).

Eric Stuart, who voices Seto Kaiba also does the voice for Brock and James.

Addie(Adam) Blaustein, who does the voice of Yugi's Grandpa also does the voice of Meowth.

Megan Hollingshead who voices Mai also does the voice for EVERY SINGLE(!) Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy.

So next time you watch anything done by 4Kids(like Ultimate Muscle or Shaman King), see if you can't point out som recognizeable voices ;)
