Is there ANY card (that is legal) that stops or reduces your pokemon from doing damage to themselves?

Example: Wormadam Trash Cloak's Pokebody.

But it has to work for ALL pokemon on your side of the field....is there any??

My question is it there any card (pokemon or trainer) that can stop my pokemon from recoil damage?


the better example would have been this...

Electrode (SW)

L-C = Ion Blast 40+
You may do 40 damage plus 60 more damage. If you do, Electrode does 100 damage to itself.

Read the BOLD part and thats what im wondering if a card can prevent even tho you do the extra damage.
 
Only Metal Energy can work for Metal Pokemon. For cards like Electrode, it is impossible.

Good thing too, else Electrode would've been broken.
 
I don't know of any tournament legal solutions to your problem, and I don't think there are any. Back in the day, I guess the card was Defender. You never know, that could be reprinted like Plus Power. -but they would likely change the text on the card.
