First thing's first, I include giant cape in the name of the deck because, in my opinion, it is what makes the deck viable. The math with giant cape works out really well with empoleon, allowing it to take a lot of hits, along with max potion support. Now with that out of the way, onto the report.

R1 vs. Thomas w/ zeels.

One of the decks hardest match-ups round one, great. I open lone piplup and go second to zekrom, eviolite, DCE. I have no supporters in hand, but top deck emolga, and call for family. I am able to roserade for a supporter next turn, and after that it was fairly smooth sailing, him only ever having 1 eel out at a time, and only being able to use it once before i catcher ko it.n Once the energy acceleration was no longer an option for him, i was able to take out his raikou ex for game. 1-0

R2 vs. Victor w/ hydreigon Darkrai.

This was easily the best game of the tournament. I was able to KO his deinos early, while he attached to his attackers, including the shaymin ex he was forced to bench early for a bianca drop. I have 2 prizes left to his 5, and all he has on the field is a darkrai with 3 energy, a shaymin ex with 2 and a registeel with 1 and an eviolite. He promotes shaymin, and hits my giant caped empoleon for 150. I am able to max potion my empoleon and start spreading damage on his attackers to the point where no matter what he switches into, i can knock it out. 2-0

R3 vs. Anthony w/ Ninetales Amoongus

This game was unfortunate. I was able to knock out early amoonguses, limiting his ability to get too many sporprises off. After that I N him into garbage, and take my last 4 prizes in the 5 following turns.
3-0

R4 vs. Bobby w/ Garchomp.

He is forced to juniper away both of his super rods turn 1. Noticing this, I take as many gible knock outs as I can, allowing him to only get 2 garchomps out the entire game, which I deal with via giant capes and max potions. 4-0

R5 vs Al w/ Garchomp

In this game I am able to implement my usual garchomp strategy: Ko altarias and attach capes. This entire game I am able to take four prizes off of swablus and altarias, and am able to tank through his garchomps for game. 5-0

My first win as a master in the season that I decided to try for an invite. 15/400
