Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Heroes Season 2! (Spoilers Inside)

Was it just me, or was the whole thing with Sylar extremely forced?

I also don't think "The Nightmare Man" is the specific killer. It seems there's more than one person out there that would be killing people (unless Kaito wasn't being truthful).

Also, conspiracy theory time: Sylar is Matt's father.

Did you guys notice how OLD PArkman's father actually is? The hooded guy looked pretty young and athletic, unlike Parkman's dad who is chubby and old so he can't possibly be the killer unless he has an arsenal of powers like BT theorizes.

The new novel, the one where you have to register, explaines Claires lost car, pretty dumb.

So far this season has been pretty dissappointing, as in the development of the episodes. It is quite clear the story will pick up, but these last 3 episodes have done nothing to really significant to add to the show IMO.

FINALLY the plot is starting to thicken. This was definitely the best episode this season since the first one.

The mob pub-owner guy died. :( And just when he was getting to be friendly and helping Peter, too...
Kristen Bell's character seems really well acted. Plays the dumb blond act perfectly.
Gotta wonder who her dad is, though - perhaps that ring that flashed momentarily when she was hanging up her cell phone has a clue?

Also, I have a theory - perhaps Caitlin has Isaac's power? Just basing this on the fact that she painted some stuff... *shrug*

Matt's dad... geez. He is ebil!!1one1! I'm thinkin the fact that he was "marked" was fake - it's lookin like he really is the killer. He trapped his own son in a nightmare (Which, by the way, the whole Nathan and Matt fighting eachother was a bit cliche'd - almost every comic I've ever read has had characters do that due to the powers of a villain at one point)
Looks like Matt's powers are starting to develop into the wide variety that his father has, though - he projected his thoughts into Nathan's mind to stop the fight.

Also, looks like the guy with the mutated face that Nathan has been seeing is his dark side... wonder how that one'll play out.
And Matt's nightmare added further confusion to whether the baby is his or not.

Looks like Jessica is back... but why? Didn't she kinda like, congratulate Nikki and willingly leave last season? Maybe she's trying to protect Nikki from something? Hmm...

The Micah/Monica storyline seemed to be getting a little lame (What with the doubledutch thing)... but now Mohinder is looking for Monica. I thought he was back taking care of Nikki and Molly? Although, I guess Monica must be the field assignment Bob gave him.
Hmm...

The previews look good. The story is finally starting to pick back up again.

Also, if anyone noticed, the guy that Ando took the scrolls to was one of the people from the Takezo Kensei documentaries... hah.

It's nice knowing that Peter still has all the old powers he absorbed. Maybe he will still blow up... nah.

Now this season's getting good. Yeah, I'm stuck with why Jessica's evil again. What happened to DL? Did he die from the bullet Linderman put in him? If Matt and his Dad have the same powers, then his storyline could get very interesting. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

I wonder who Elle was speaking to on the phone near the end of the episode. She called him "Daddy," and I'm guessing that she was talking to a character we already know and would never suspect (Heroes is just good like that). Could she be Noah's illegitimate child?! That would be so SWEET. She might be Bob's kid, but the thought of Bob having children somehow creeps me out. o_O

What's going to happen with Peter's storyline now that Elle is being taken off her assignment and Ricky is dead? He says, "I can't run any more," at the very end of the episode, so I guess he's going to try and seek out Ricky's killer. I don't know how or where he'll start, though. Perhaps he'll paint a picture of Elle murdering Ricky using Isaac's power?

Hiro's story being told through pieces of parchment just so Ando can grab some screentime continues to be lamer than lame.

Matt and Nathan were what made this episode so great. Matt's father seems like a very complex character - I think that he sincerely feels bad about leaving Matt as a child, but he's too caught up in his own world to fix his mistakes. His power is amazing, as well. I guess we know why he's called "The Nightmare Man" now, although we are still in the dark about how he's holding Molly's mind/soul/whatever captive.

Mohinder should have tasered Nikki a bit more so that she would be sent into a coma, from which she would never again wake up and steal airtime that could be devoted to more interesting characters.

Micah and Monica were considerably better in this episode than in the last. The process of discovering one's abilities is always great to watch, and this show does it pretty well. I wonder if Monica will take the opportunity to testify next episode, or if that plot element will fade into the background, unexplored and wasted.

Can't wait for next week!

We know what is going to happen with Peter. They are going to go that area he painted and to the building it showed. He has a plane ticket to there, and most likely the girl will buy one too or he will trade it in for 2 of a lower price and they will run off to find who killed the girl's father.

I'm torn on Matt's father. He seemed genuine when Matt first came in. But then seemed evil when he left. I'm thinking someone has the ability to control people. It would explain Ms. Petrelli attacking herself. It would explain Nikki acting all weird. It would explain why Matt's father acted totally different when he left the house. Why kill people yourself when you can get others to do it for you?

We still don't know the full motive for the place where Bob works. It seems good but at the same time, it's hard to trust anyone in this show.

I'm waiting for the moment when Claire's new BF meets Claire's dad.

My dad actually had a theory about Matt's dad that seems relatively plausible.
Perhaps Matt's dad truly did care about his son's safety, and, in fact, locked him and Nathan in nightmares, knowing they'd find their way out of them, to protect them from some greater danger?

That's an interesting idea, but what leads me off it is that he looked evil walking out of the room after leaving Matt and Nathan in the nightmare. He had an evil smirk as he walked out the door. The theory that someone is controlling everyone is also plausable, and I'm interested to see who the remaining heroes in the photograph are.

Yeah, Matt's dad was like "Sweet dreams" when he left, so I doubt he has good intentions, without someone controlling him.

Speaking of which...

In the fourth episode this season, when Matt and Nathan are hunting for clues, they stumble upon the original photo of the twelve heroes that founded "The Company". We get good looks at all of them except for one, who is almost completely blocked out by Nathan's hand when he's pointing at the others that he recognizes. I did the Slo-mo thing on my TiVo and all I could make out was that he was a white guy with grayish hair. I'm wondering if it could be Nikki's father, because we still have no idea how Jessica got into Nikki's body (unless that was revealed in one of the online comics - I don't keep up with those things on a regular basis), and apparantely he did something to make it happen.

And his future self ran out of the apartment after leaving Petrelli and Parkman in a nightmare.

Hiro was both in Japan and Las Vegas at the same time in season 1, so my conspiracy theory has precedent. Remember the point of a conspiracy theory, after all, is to offer something that sounds untrue but winds up being true and thus making the person behind it look very smart indeed. And it's a good thing I'm so smart.

It's a good thing that your conspiracy theory is so ridiculous that it couldn't possibly be right, too. I mean, if it came true, you might get big-headed!

Wait a minute...

Hmm, that episode seemed to go by rather quickly, especially the first half.

Let's see... how many languages can Noah speak? Geez. He's like, quadlingual at the very least by now.
And he's also seeming EVIL. >_<... Killing his mentor when it probably wasn't necessary... bleh. The line between good and evil gets more and more blurred each episode.
And, in contrast, Bob is making the company seem kinda good, although I think his niceness was mostly an act... I think that was Jessica, not Niki, that came to see Suresh, and I think she's gonna do something bad.

Maya is a little... deedeedee. Seems at points like she has a crush on Sylar, or something. Alejandro, on the other hand, is actually smart... but why would Sylar tell him his plan? I mean, no, Maya wouldn't believe it if he told her, but still... he could like, run away, or try to kill Sylar, or something...

Claire and West's plan and all that was hilarious. Quite funny with the drunken cheerleader and whatnot. And the flying masked man bit was just ridiculous.

Hiro's story... geesh. That's uh... not good. Why in the name of heck is Kensei working with Whitebeard? History's screwed! Should be interesting to see how that one plays out.

We didn't get a good glimpse of most of the paintings, but they did look... interesting, to say the least.

Wonder who this Adam Monroe guy is. He's dangerous to the company, and he somehow knows Peter. Hmm. Oh, also, is it just me, or was the mirror where Peter found Adam's note reflecting the Isaac Picture of the nuclear explosion?

Speaking of which... now we get to avert ANOTHER disaster. Hooray! First it's a bomb, now it's who knows what... except this time, it kills ninety-freaking-three percent of the world's entire population. Seems a bit more destructive than a nuclear bomb.
And now we have another "alternate future" episode, although it's considerably earlier in the series than last season's... wonder why.
Unfortunately, if this is the course that Heroes is going to take - averting one apocalypse after another every season - it could get stale pretty fast. Season 3 or 4 might be its death knell. Meh, I suppose only time will tell.

Alejandro, on the other hand, is actually smart... but why would Sylar tell him his plan? I mean, no, Maya wouldn't believe it if he told her, but still... he could like, run away, or try to kill Sylar, or something...

cause Alejandro knows no english what-so-ever, so it didn't matter.
