Houston "Hidden Legends" Pre-release...June 5, 2004

The Count Down Begins...

All right, five days and counting down until the rest of us will get to hold those cards from the "Hidden Legends" series in our hands. :thumb: There have been a lucky few that have gotten their hands on these cards from the "Pokemon Space Party" that is running through the 6th of June. But, on Saturday, June 5th at "Heroes Collectables", we will have THE "Pre-release Tournament" that we have been waiting for. I have seen some of the scans of these cards and they are awesome!!! I especially like the "Reverse Holos". :cool:

Take a deep breath...and try to relax until Saturday. Master Professor Birch and Xerogravity will be "demoing" at the "Pokemon Space Party" on Friday, June 4th. Come on by and let us do the demo for you and receive a free pack of cards. If you have any of those "Professor Birch" cards, I will sign them for you. :D I am looking forward to seeing and meeting you on Friday at the "Pokemon Space Party" and especially at the "Houston Pre-release Tournament" at "Heroes Collectables" on Saturday. :clap:

Master Professor Birch and Xerogravity will be back at the "Pokemon Space Party" on Sunday, June 6th as we will help out with the "Pre-release Tournaments" there. :eek: It is an exciting week of Pokemon for the Houston area come on out and join in on all of the fun. Until then, enjoy the start of the Summer because it will really start to heat up on Saturday at "Heroes Collectables". ;)

Hello all,

Originally I had not planned on going, but my wife was given a rare saturday off at work. James and I would like to be in attendance if we could hitch a ride with someone. We live near the arlington area. I could meet someone anywhere if they are passing thru the metroplex. please post here or E-mail me if you have room for 2.

P.S. ..... I would really like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to the Lynchmob. They really exemplify what the game is all about. Taking my son with them to the Oklahoma GC was greatly appreciated. I never thought people here cared so much about each other. (never got that in chicago) They are truely classy people. Once again THANX,

All is right in "Birch Land"....Master Professor Birch has received his shipment of the "Hidden Legends" series of cards on Wednesday. I couldn't help but open a box to see for myself what these cards look like!!! Well... not to disappoint you... when you see these cards...you will got to have them all!!! I had heard about the "NEW STYLE" of the reverse holos. In my opinion, these look better than the regular holos!!! :clap:

Only two more days until the "Houston Pre-release Tournament". Be sure to arrive at "Heroes Collectables" on 1810 Dairy-Ashford in Houston by 10:00am for registration. :D

Below is the schedule of the events during the day:

10:00am....Registration for the Pre-release Tournament / Pre-Constructed Deck Tournament / GBA Tournament

10:45am....GBA Tournament Starts

11:15am....Pre-release Tournament Starts

4:00pm....Modified Constructed Deck Tournament Sign-Up & Start / Sign-Up for Booster Draft Tournament

4:15pm....Modified Constructed Deck Tournament Starts

5:00pm....Booster Draft Tournament Starts

Oh yes, Master Professor Birch will have the "Official" Pre-release T-shirts available for sale at the "Houston Pre-release". Prices are $11.00 for "S,M,L,XL" and $13.00 for "XXL,XXXL". Check these out, I know that you want one of these!!! :thumb:

Also, Master Professor Birch will be leaving for Houston early, early Friday morning. If you have any questions, please post or email me by 9:00pm tonight. That way I will be able to answer them before I leave.

GBA: FREE

Modified Constructed Deck: $5.00

Booster Draft: $15.00

And the "Main Pre-release Tournaments are $15.00 as well.

Richard, you need more events in the North Texas area! Don't get me wrong, I love to see anything at all, but to see a Richard-hosted premier event is just too cool!

Try to get PUI to give you a prerelease for Firered/Leafgreen in Dallas, eh? ^_-

Count Down to ONE DAY....

All right guys, Master Professor Birch is going night-night, to sleep that is. MP Birch, Xerogravity, and ShinAkuma will be starting our journey to Houston at 4:30am on Friday morning. Master Professor Birch will be bringing his "Magical Pokemon Tour" to your town at about 9:30am, Houston time. Catch MP Birch and Xerogravity at the "Pokemon Space Party" at NASA on Friday as we will be demoing for you. Come on out let us demo the new cards for you and receive a pack of the TCG cards. :D

Things are starting to heat up in Houston for this weekend. As there will be more Pokemon than you can shake a stick at. :cool: If you are traveling to Houston for these events, please drive carefully. ;)

Tomorow is the big day! I can't wait to get my hands on all the good cards in this set and there's quite a few good cards I want, heh heh. My team is prepared on my GBA and I have the money saved up.

Thank you, Houston and all of the players that came to "Heroes Collectables" on Saturday, June 5th for the "Houston Pre-release Tournament". The attendance was down from the last Pre-release in March. Which was affected by the "Pokemon Space Party" at NASA which held Pre-releases for FREE. And some players were out of town on vacations. :eek:
