I want to learn about TFG

I have heard of this game and thought about getting these figures (I have one, Salamence). But, I think they died away before I could start playing the game or get figures (before I got the 1). Can someone give me the rules to this game?

The game didn't last very long, it came out a few months after Diamond and Pearl games came out but it included none of the new Pokemon. It also did not get any push from Official Play and no encouragement for people to play the TFG in the TCG leagues until much later when the game was already dead. So yeah The game appeared quietly and died quietly with the second set that never came out. The figures have amazing sculpts and the actual game is very fun, some people criticized it because it was much more luck based than the TCG but there was still some strategy and what was important is that it was fun.

Explaining the game might be a little hard without pictures or having figures, but you need at lest 3 Pokemon Figures, a playmat and an opponent with at least three Pokemon figures as well. The goal was to reach your opponents side, if you are facing a Pokemon you had to fight which you did by spinning the figure wand whatever it landed on was your attack, if you did more than his HP you KOd it and it went to the bench. You could use trainer cards, I believe the total you could have was 3. Fun game, a shame it never got a real chance to actually see if could succeed or not.

I liked the game honestly It was more luck then anything. Not saying that it wasn't fun I demoed it one year at US Nationals in Colunbus
