Hello Everybody, Im new to this forun, everybody can call me Mills for short. I havent played Poke'mon in a long time and I decided to play again. I put togetler this Team Aqua Deck and it needs some help. All suggestions are welcome.

    Icicle Burst (v.1)

    Pokemon:
    2-Team Aqua Corphish [Slow-Acting Poison]
    2-Team Aqua Crawdaunt (Water/Darkness)
    3-Team Aqua Spheal [Aqua Trance]
    3-Team Aqua Sealeo [Aqua Trance]
    3-Team Aqua Walrein (Water/Darkness)
    2-Team Aqua Carvanna [Poison Fang]
    2-Team Aqua Sharpeedo (Water/Darkness)
    1-Team Aqua Kyogre (Water/Darkness)
    2-Suicune ex

    Trainers:
    3-Archie
    3-Team Aqua Ball
    2-Team Aqua Belt
    2-Team Aqua Schemer
    2-Team Aqua Conspirator
    1-Team Aqua Technical Machine 01
    2- Warp Point

    Energy:
    4-Dark Energy
    4-Aqua Energy
    17-Water Energy

The main Strategy I want to acomplish is to do heavy damage while my opponent is affected with a Special Condition (e.g. Poison, Confused, Asleep).

NOTE: I havent played in a LONG time so you guys have to explain some stuff to me.

U basically need draw power in this deck. Here is a list of most of the draw power most people use now, profesor oaks research, copycat, oracle,tv reporter and desert shaman.U have a pretty decent deck for just starting again but u just need to get some of this draw power

An Aqua deck is a good idea, but I would suggest some changes. You are way too high on energy (aim for 18-19) which means that you can fit more trainers (you need some hand recycle trainers as suggested by the black guy). Look at the decks posted recently by JohnnyBlaze or the discussion of StevenB's Aqua deck for inspiration.

It is OK to play three evolution lines when you have the good Aqua trainers, but you need more variation. You would get beaten badly by a deck with water resistance and facing Electric would also be hard. You should as a minimun drop either Sharpedo or Crawdaunt since they have the same strenghts/weaknesses. I think the best replacement would be the holo Manectric that can move energy (putting in a couple of electric energy is easy), but you could also consider Mightyena (both are good, but I love the Pokemon search capability of the uncommon).

I don't think you should play Suicune EX in this deck. You have plenty of water attackers that have as strong attacks without costing two prizes and which gets stopped by Wobbuffet. Suicune is great in a Swampert deck where the extra damage from moving energy from your hand is minimized, but the penalty here is too big (an Archie's Walrein is a more flexible attacker from my viewpoint).

Ok thanx for the great advise black guy and mozartrules. I didn't realize how affective Manetric was and it was kind of easy to find space for more draw power. Here is the new version.

    Icicle Burst (v.2)

    Pokemon:
    3-Team Aqua Spheal [Aqua Trance]
    3-Team Aqua Sealeo [Aqua Trance]
    3-Team Aqua Walrein (Water/Darkness)
    2-Team Aqua Carvanna [Poison Fang]
2-Team Aqua Sharpeedo [Slow Acting Poison]
    1-Team Aqua Kyogre (Water/Darkness)
    2-Team Aqua Electrike [Self Charge]
    2-Team Aqua Manetric [Poke'Body]

    Trainers:
    4-Archie
    3-Team Aqua Ball
    2-Team Aqua Belt
    2-Team Aqua Schemer
    2-Team Aqua Conspirator
    2- Warp Point
    1-TV Reporter
    1-Oracle
    1-CopyCay
    1-Desert Shaman
    1-Professor Oak's Research

    Energy:
    4-Aqua Energy
    4-Electric Energy
    14-Water Energy

How is this. Will it work better that the last deck I posted?

Better, but you are a little high on energy and low on basics (8 is cutting it thin).

    -1 Spheal
-1 Sealeo (you will often use Archie to get Walrein anyway)
+2 Kyogre (easy to get from the theme deck if you don't have enough)

(You could consider taking out another pair of Spheal/Sealeo and go 3/3 on the Manectric line)

    +2 Copycat
+2 Desert Shaman (or Professor Oak;s Research)
    - 4 Water Energy

I like that you took out the Aqua energy. You shouldn't need the extra speed this gives when you have Manectric.

well since you have the archie, i would drop the sphel and sealo and add 4 dunsparce. YEa its now a team aqua pokemon, but i can fill your bench with them, allowing for a quicker attack with team aquas kyrouge
