Can you feel the excitement? Over 130 pokemon cards, included is over 20 new Pokemon. Exciting new LV.X Pokémon that make Pokémon more powerful. New attacks that will lead to new strategies. A new look that incorporates Pokédex information for each Pokémon. Each booster pack now contains 10 game cards!
Three Age Divisions:
Juniors (born in 1997 or later) Seniors (born in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996) Masters (born in 1992 or earlier)
Sealed Deck (all cards provided) Age Modified Swiss (all players play in every round). You get 6 booster packs to build a 40 card deck (I provide the energies). Then play in a fun tournament to test your skills against other trainers.
All Players get 2 additional Mysterious Treasures booster packs when they complete the tournament!!!
Cost - $25
THEME DECK CHALLENGE: If you are just learning to play Pokémon, you might be interested in a more casual format. Instead of the main Prerelease tournament, you can participate in a theme deck challenge, which will be a non-sanctioned tournament. You will be given a brand new Mysterious Treasures theme deck to battle with. Everyone who participates in this event gets an additional 4 Mysterious Treasures booster packs and a Special Mysterious Treasures promotional item if they complete the tournament. Parents can help their younger children, or children can help their parents learn the game. Learn to play the game, get the new cards and have a lot of FUN in the process. You can’t lose! Quantities of Theme Decks are limited.
Cost - $25.00
SIDE EVENT TOURNAMENTS (if time allows): Following the main tournament we will run side events using the new Mysterious Treasures Boosters or theme Decks. The type of tournaments we run depends on what players want. We can do booster drafts or theme deck sealed. Prizes: The amount of prizes depends on number of participants).
Entry fee - $15.00
Various Poke’mon cards of older sets will be given away to all participants!
