actually, ive recently read articles on ohter sites and found that GG is actually one of the most played decks in Japan. The japanese use it with techs like Gardy DS and mewtwo Lv.X and Azelf lv.X to shut off weakness. also kingdra DP5 is an extremely popular card there as well.

Technicaly if you keep building and testing it right now its rogue so if it is rogue and then becomes and archetype then you are still playing something that was rogue when you started using it.

really, would you mind telling me these sites or giving a link to the articles because I would really like to learn more.

    It's obvious, though.

Blaziken and Typhlosion both have FS, but Blaziken GE is a good attacker. Claydol is just... the bcif, so yeah. There was a reason everyone was doing it lol.

Yeah, I know that was kinda obvious Combo. BUT I am looking at the NEW Kingdra, Grumpig, Empoleon(which isnt as good as thought), Infernape, and a FEW others out of this NEW set. This set has ALOT of potiential, IF we get what was displayed in Spoilers, but you know how things go...

That is why I was wondering about the Japanese Meta, because THEY have Cards that we dont, so...SHOOT I am still building Combos with old Empoleon and Mismagius, and others from the earlier DP sets!

During the time of Tego's article, Magmortar was quite popular. Since DP5 was released in Japan, Magmortar was nowhere to be seen in the metagame because of Kingdra DP5. Kingdra was among the top decks played now in Japan because of its speed, some players paired with Claydol, some with Lunasol. Eeveelutions also made some appearance because they had Eevee UF. The legendary pixies [Azelf, Uxie, Mesprit] are also among the top decks claiming the top 2 spots in the Masters Division at a recent Battle Road.

Same here. When I looked at the spoilers for DP5 and scrolled to Kingdra, I was like OMG O_O The entire Kingdra line is like the Empoleon line :thumb:
