There isn't a standard for that deck... Like it or not, I think you'll be one of the only people playing 3 Mewtwo come states... And Zekrom EX isn't standard. Popular, maybe.

Just because said person ran 3, doesn't mean that everyone at states will even have Mewtwos to use, let alone 3. :nonono:

I will preface this by stating that in our household, we have a player in each division.

Now, I agree that in jrs and to a lesser extent srs, some will in fact not have mewtwos to play. But many will. In masters though, I would have to disagree. Obviously, not everyone will have the resources to get multiple high $$ cards. But you will see a majority of players using it. Most ppl I know have at least 1 atm. Not many have 2though(we hope to be the first with 3). Pre tournament frenzy will provide those who want one(or more) the opportunity to acquire it. My experience though is that many will likely try to overcharge for it. So be prepared to pay, or go without. It will be interesting to track how many states are won by Mewtwo-less decks.

^Same with us. We would be in a horrible spot right now if we hadn't been trolling eBay for eneducated sellers that listed them BIN very low. Larger families will struggle to get the Mewtwos. Seniors and Juniors will struggle to get the Mewtwos. It's going to be very interesting come states.

Mewtwo really isnt that hard to get. I've sold 4 so far and I have 4 right now. I could have 8 if I wanted to.

[DEL]You also went to 21 cities....[/DEL] (Mm'k, don't get my point I guess. Nvm)

I don't think they'll be seen much until you get to the 4-0+ part of states in Seniors/Juniors, unless you get unfortunate pairings.

Methinks he is referring to the fact that most little kids don't have much secondary market purchasing power. The easiest way to obtain a specific card is also the least likely for young children to use. Most jrs, at least here in the Midwest, aren't able to network to the same degree as masters. That tends to limit their ability to affect trades/purchases. Remember, most youngsters have parents that would say "You want me to spend HOW MUCH on a CARD?"
