The thing I was say was youre going to get two energy out a turn and you can pretty much predict when your suddowoodo will be knock simply trans his multi and let him fall.

    Updated decklist:

    Pokemon (18):
    4 Treecko (Razor Leaf)
    2 Grovyle (Natural Cure)
4 Sceptile (2 Lizard Poison, 2 Energy Trans)
    3 Carvahna
    3 Sharpedo
    2 Dunsparce (SS)

    Trainers (24):
    4 Copycat
    2 Professor Oak's Research
    4 Oracle
    2 Pokemon Nurse
    1 Town Volunteers
    3 Switch
    3 Moo-Moo Milk
    2 Power Charge
    3 Rare Candy

    Energy (18):
    3 Boost Energy
    9 Grass Energy
    4 Multi Energy
    2 Water Energy

No really major changes; dropped the Dittos and Bill's Maintenances for a second Grovyle and 4 Copycats. Just realized, though, that I'm down to 9 Basics. Any suggestions that do not involve Dragons cards would be appreciated.

Sorry, but the only thing I can think of is Roselia... Maybe Zangoose???

Roselia's Dragons, although I'm definitely planning on putting it in if I get any in the box I pre-ordered. Zangoose I don't have. Any more suggestions?

  5. I think if your going to have water pokemon in your deck put more water energys in.Also dont put WailordEX in , my friend Quinn , tried that in his deck and IT DID NOT WORK OUT!

APT, Multi counts as water. 7 is plenty in in a deck with a pokemon that only requires (W)(C)(C) to attack. And BTW, this is Aryl from League. heh :D .

I would change to Dragons Treeko, the first 50 HP Treeko. His attack is CC Quick Attack (10+20 in heads). I also like the Fury Cutter Grovyle. 10-70 for GC. I would also up hte Nurses in the deck....

APT -- Like Shadow said, Multi provides W.

Shadow -- Actually, this version has 6 cards to provide W, not 7, but that's always turned out to be enough. Thanks for pointing out the use of Multi.

Spectreon -- If I pull enough of each in my Dragons box, I will definitely switch to those Treecko and Grovyle. And I'll be upping the Nurses as soon as I have enough to do so, which should be soon.

you said something about lacking basics? try fittin in some Net Search... you can thin your deck 6 cards in 1 turn with that + Dunsparce, plus you fill up your bench in the meantime. Maybe drop an Oracle and a TV for em? I dunno.

Thing is, that's a good answer -- to the wrong question. The reason 9 Basics is a bad thing is because I'm more likely to mulligan than I'm willing to risk. I'd rather find room for a fourth Carvanha.

Well, thanks to a lot of help from Otaku, I've taken a whole new spin on the Sceptile idea -- it's Sceptile tech! It even beat Otaku's Ampharos deck in its first playtest match -- although, admittedly, he got a horrible setup while I got a fabulous one.

    Pokemon (20):
    4 Treecko (R/S #76)
    3 Grovyle (2 R/S #32, 1 R/S #31)
    4 Sceptile (2 Holo, 2 Non-Holo)*
    2 Wynaut
    2 Wobbuffet (SS)
    3 Zapdos (AQ)
    2 Suicune (AQ)

    Trainers (20):
    3 Copycat
    2 Professor Oak's Research
    4 Pokemon Nurse
    1 Town Volunteers
    2 Switch
    2 Warp Point
    2 Rare Candy
    2 Power Charge
    1 Ancient Ruins
    1 Mirage Stadium

    Energy (20):
    12 Grass Energy
    4 Rainbow Energy
    4 Multi Energy

*May become all non-holo, depending on how playtesting goes.

Strategy: Still an Energy Trans deck, but instead of Sharpedo as main hitter, I've got a few different Basics. Because of the annoying Poke-Bodies on Suicune and Zapdos, I don't even try to use Lightning or Water Energy -- instead, I use Rainbow and Multi. I have the basic Sceptile/Nurse combo going for healing.
If I can, I start by using Wynaut to search out my various Pokemon, then evolve to 'ffet when I'm set up -- at least a non-holo Sceptile and some hitters. Suicune's anti-Fire, Zapdos is just a good hitter (although, as I write this, I find myself considering switching to Moltres to counter Steel), and 'ffet is obviously anti-Psy and anti-ex.

Because when running Sceptile TecH you want a turn 2 Sceptile.

So? Sceptile shouldn't be attacking turn 2, but it should be ready to Trans. And Holo Sceptile can attack turn 2.

  14. 1 thing about your Treecko eveloution line. Why not take a Sceptile out?I mean having a 4 4 4 eveloution line looks like hogging up room to me.The chance of getting all 4 Sceptiles out is extremly low.

It's not to get them all out, APT -- it's to maximize the chances of getting at least one out.

  16. dkates I have an idea on a name.Howbout Morphing Raindrops of the Leaf. That probely sounds to long and to wierd but it's just an idea.I got morphing from Ditto, raindrops from Azurril's family, and leaf from Treecko's family.Or you could just make it Morphing Raindrops but it's all your choice dkates.

  17. Whoa dkates I think the maximam you can have on 1 subject is 58.My last reply might be weird.

  18. Oh now I see.Hey dkates I congradualate you , your subject is 2 pages long.

  19. 3 pages long sorry.

Well, you could reduce Nurse by 2 and add Briney"s Compassion to save a wounded Pokemon instead of just heal it and make room on your bench.
