We're lucky that a great guy like Jason won Worlds last year.

Can you imagine if <insert name here> had won? Nobody would want to meet THAT guy. And who could blame them.

Be like Jason.

That is TOTALLY AWESOME! I sure hope that with Worlds being in Hawaii it will be published somewhere so we all can get a copy of the story! That just gives me goosebumps!

I hope you don't mean anybody in particular.

>_>

Ness is one of the greatest people alive.

I agree WRT Ness. I've heard nothing but great things about him.

As for anyone in particular, yes, I have several people in mind who I feel would be poor ambassadors of the game if they should ever achieve the success that Ness has.

fun fact: jason is the only person to have won 2 trips to Hawaii from Pokemon (Tropical Mega Battle).

wow this is so incredible, i am really happy that jason is doing this, considering how important this means to the child. To be honest, jason is like the kerry wood of pkmn (i guess you could tell who my favorite team is); very well known and a really great player. Major props to jason for taking on this special request from a child who has been through so much...:thumb:

Awww, that's so sweet! Kudos to both Jason and the Make A Wish Foundation for doing something so special yet unusual!

Jake is the Make a wish kid, and plays in two of my leagues! When he asked me about it, I contacted Dave, and all of the PUI staff bent over backward to make this happen for him!

Jason, signed and gave him his 2007 WC hat! The entire staff worked hard to make this fun for him!

Pics of him getting the trip are on http://mspokemon.com

I think Laetitia from Belgium also won 2 trips to Hawaii, she was there too and is playing here now.

I hope that the kid had the day of his life, he looks very happy on the pictures.
And being happy is all that matters

Anyone who has met/been around Ness knows that this is right up his alley. Jason does great with kids. Go look at the pics from the Regional with Vince. I believe it was the MV Reg in Memphis, where he was basically the ringleader outside with the pokeball blow ups playing dodge ball, kick ball etc. (Coulda been Rockford IL though).

I'm not sure about MV, but he definately was the ringleader of the Poke-Dodgeball during the Finals at Rockford.

Great pics Mike! Glad you got everyone contacted and helped to put this together for this young man.

Was this the guy who was playing with the black MT sleeves on Friday during the grinder?

He was the one in Juniors. Jason was also given a set, and when he learned that Jake's cousin came to play in the Grinder, Jason gave his set up to Brice, Jakes cousin
