Well I just received my second call today from kids telling me that the local Meijer is selling team Magma and Team Aqua cards already. I have been told they have been selling them since this past Wednesday.

You know what that means. If Meijer suffers the same fate as Target, then Meijer will have promo cards in about 2 months :D

At least we had 1 prerelease weekend before they sold them.

They were the inventor of the "All in one super one stop store"

Imagine an wal-mart/homedepot/large grocery store all in one. Wal-mart has coppied the idea with the superwalmarts.

    Meijer is in MI,OH,IN

I'll be stoping there today :)

Another slap in the face to the local card shops that are following the rules.

Do they have a good league at Meijer?

I was over in the USA on march 13th and found both in Walmart + Meijers the Magma VS Aqua cards including the starterdecks. This was in Livonia, MI.

Went to a comic book shop the other day and told the manager to pull the packs and starters till Monday. It's crazy how these still keep leaking out early.

I think the release date of the product and the prereleases need more of a gap between them. 3 days after a prerelease to release the product is nits. If they move the last prerelease date and the release of the cards further apart the less likely it is to happen.

Good idea, maybe a week a would work well. PUI could fix it so thet the cards arrived in stores between the prerelease and the release.
