Can I use a Game Boy Advance memory card with Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire?
wait a minute. Since when was there a GBA memory card?
Well I thought I saw one in Wal-Mart the other day.
Well I remeber that there was a game biran for the GBC that let you store game files from games, so maybe this is the GBA verson???
There's a Game Shark SP which will allow game saves to be transfered to a PC and stored.
Brain Boy was an unsupported product, and it does function very much like a memory card and a very specailized gameshark for G/S.
Memory cards for the GBA are unsupported in general, because they are buggy and generally not very safe to use. Memory cards also provide an unfair advantage when trading pokémon and will probably be never supported by nintendo.
No, but when Pokémon Box comes out in America, you can transfer Pokémon from American game paks onto a Gamecube Memory Card that's included with the disc.
Theres a difference there. In pokémon box, the pokémon isn't duplicated, it is placed onto the memory card. With a GBA memory card, you could save your data, trade a pokémon, then reload it, which is classified as duplication.
