For my case is different! I actually apply for it in PokeLabs. (If you don't believe, ask GreatFox, he knew about it).

Regardless of the way they choose, you have to maintain a positive outlook in the board. I think they do check your behaviour in the board before you go and apply.

When I was going to open the email, my heartbeat went faster and faster. Then..... yeah! I get the power!

No offense to anyone who does it this way, but it is not a smart move for any Administrator to allow people to apply for the staff of this power.

I guess I miised that board but The Initiated prepare a victim for the Pikachu King: is me holding my then 11/2 year old glad I could be part of a good time for everyone the STS was great.

Now the real question is: Who is the boss of who? Can we really expect 2 carnivorous Pokémon to live peacefully?
Is there a King Pika/King Mudkip showdown in the future?

I just saw the episode of Pokemon Advanced today, Now i understand. Hey everybody, If you catch a pikachu, dont stick it close to an electro magnet, if you do you will be sorry!!!
 
I think the current mods DO meet the nominee in person before granting the power. SD_Pokemom was granted the power when WCSTS was going that time.
