you say cardboard. from your theory thats taking a cardboard box, cutting a square and selling it on ebay for $10,000.

But you know Stock is printed on a piece of paper that says shares, coins is made from cheapest metal on earth, same with dollar bills, cards is portraits or arts of something made into collectors items. The cardboard thing just has no meaning to it no more to me IMO, cause it might be made of cardboard but theirs something printed on it from a company they may or may not print many of that item.

The "Illustrator Pikachu" card went for $22,000 quite a while back, if I recall. In terms of amount per card, that's likely the single most valuable card, considering the amount that it alone went for.

Ok point taken dude. our Currency and other important documents are printed on materials we view as of having no value. But at least you can use that to buy things that are necessary or the luxuries for life. Last time I check you can't roll into a Mcdonald's and say "I want a big mac. will this Blastoise ex cover it"

Just to let everyone know I update the super.jpg by adding one more card
Still cannot find the pics of trainer No 3 on my computer...

They have different pics. The higher the prize the more characters it have on it!

Wish they do the same for Worlds prize cards too instead of just printing it with different text

No you cant really, but you can sell that blastoise EX easily then buy whatever.
Ive done that for years now.

cool i do the same thing but w/ yugioh. But the thing w/ cards is after a while has passed cards lose their value. So spending enough money on a single card for a car is just absurd cuz chances are you won't be able to sell the cards back for the same price u bought it for.

yeah I had that problem to, just got out of yugioh and sold a bunch of stuff LOL, hard to believe I put up with that game for 2 years, game itself aint totally bad but the people in it makes the experience bad.

I cant ever deny those were ever made now, but I would really question if WOTC or PUI would authenticate em as being real. Kinda like money and coins being legal tender and all. But I mean has any of us seen a pre-release raichu?

So the story goes that after the cards were printed, the mistake was found. All the cards they could get back were destroyed by the printer. But not all were returned.........

And no, I do not have one :frown:

it should be about 800
The university Magikarp have 800 copies? You got to be kidding...
I am talking about the university one, NOT the shining ones...

there were like 18410402198 shining magikarps...

800 university magikarps is still a very small amount

The university magikarps appeared on ebay a couple times before, they went for about $400 each I think, wasnt too much.

There are only 3 Clefairy Freddy K signed cards in the world!

AND I HAVE ALL 3 =P
