I don't agree with Haunters, especially with that Magby in there. Drop the line, and run more Scyther and/or Cleffa in there. Get 4 DCE, axe Psychic. I really don't like Energy Search. You need more than 1 CPU Search, probably more than one Item, and Miracle Berry isn't that good either. You need some Switch and some Gust of Wind. Energy Flow is also nice in Special Energy decks. It's rogue though, but it's interesting and saves you from major headaches sometimes.

my card collection is extremely weak in the trainer front which makes it hard for me to do more than singles... and lets say -2 psy and +1 gold berry, +1 Prof elm

i KNEW i was forgetting something... gusties and switches... alright... well in the case of CPU search and item, read below message... ok ill make the edits to the deck list above hold on a sec

I'd drop the Miracle Berry -- in Unlimited, you'll rarely come across Special Conditions, and if you do, Switch will usually cover you. Speaking of which, you'll want 2-3 each of Switch and Gust of Wind in your deck. You should have bunches of them -- they were Commons.

That sounds decent, but better Pokes than Haunter are needed for this deck IMO. He's good, but the Magby, and playing a 2-2 evolution line, takes away any good reason to play it.

Anyway, good luck with the deck. I'm currently having some deck problems myself, since I was borrowing the 2nd Rocket's Zapdos in my deck, and it's a pain in the neck to try and find one not online. Plus, Ebay is the only place online with decent prices...some cards on Pokeorder go for upwards of $40 when they're barely playable.

Getting better, but I don't like Energy Search, especially for single-color decks. I'd drop them for second copies of Elm, Gold Berry, Computer Search, and Item Finder, if you can pull that off. Why use Muk when you have Magby? Also, if you have/can get it, consider Pichu. Since your only Pokemon Power would be Rain Dance, Pichu can be a big help in countering the evil Slowkings.

im thinking of removing 3 energy searches for 2x clefary (base set) and 1x clefable (jungle)... are those 2 cards any good?

They are, but they do change your deck focus, and you'd need one more of each. Also, this deck doesn't need any more Pokemon.

Don't get used to fast replies. I've already given you my answer to that one -- drop all 4 for doubles of every single in your Trainers except the Stadiums. I'd also drop one each of Switch and Gust for third copies of Comp Search and Item Finder.

say i could get them, i should have 3 item finders, 3 computer searches, and 2 of all non-stadium cards... thats a little trainer-intensive... but ill try

That's about the size of it. It is possible to buy many of these cards online, but it always comes down to money.

meh, i don buy online, i usually rely on packs to get cards and build decks... there arent really any places even remotely local where i can buy single cards... where i am stuck living for now is pretty far from anything to do with pokemon... :\ for the cards that i need, what packs should i buy?

i know, but for me to get single cards the closest place is a little store called image and its more than 2 hours away
