It's coming down to the last 13 days untill US nationals and I still don't know what deck to use!:nonono:

    My choices are:
    Garchomp(Restore:Ampharos,Dusknor,Flygon EX,Gallade,Gardevoir)

    Please help me decide.

    Thank you

    Beedrill, best deck in format.

I disagree with RockBand or Beedrill being the best deck in format. It can be out speed and out run by many things, mainly becuase it is a Stage 2 deck.

I would run your Empoleon deck. Only becuase 1) It is very effeicent and with your Exploud Mix probably more effective than most.

It may be over used at this Nationals, but if you believe your deck is fast enough and strong enough, with the trainers and lines, i would run it.

    Good luck. -Gowk

I'd go with the Garchomp Lv.X. I've posted a reply to your Garch list in the Deck Help forum, and I'm taking a very similar deck to Nats.

What you said about Beedrill being out speed and out run by many things just showes how little you know about the deck. Is it the BDIF? Probably not, but its definitly up there among the top decks.

    Empoleon is the play.

I would say Magmortar or Empoleon. If you use Magmortar add a 1-1 Raichu MD tech and possibly a holon's castform to put the scrambles in your hand and add 2 rainbows.

I see what you say. It is a great deck, one not to be reconded with. But in my play testing experiance, maybe a fluke or fail, but i have had a hard time setting up my 4 beedrill. I take a large offensice when you say : "shows how little you know about the deck"

Thank you for that, but i still say Empoleon.

Didn't mean anything bad about you, I just think that from what you posted you have a bad list. In my testing and tourney playing I have never had trouble setting up all 4 by t4-t6.

Empoleon is a risky play as EVERYONE and their grandmother will be expecting it and/or playing it.

Basicly if you go with Empoleon expect a looooooooooooooong day of counter decks and mirror matches, neither being any fun. >.<

Correct, 1) about the bad list, I play tested Prize Card's list, so i would assume by it numerous ranking and succsess it cant be bad.

    2) You are right, Empo is going to be over used, but the decks listed are different, Speed Grass, Snipping Water etc. so it seems that out of the choices Empo stands out because 1) Garchomp is still hard to work, unless he can conrol its power 2)Mag will boil down to nothing becuse of all the Empoleons(Omastar) 3) Beedrill.

Beedrill, if you have a 'good' list, than i change my vote and say, Beedrill

That list is close to a good one. Tweak it a little here and there for consistancy and you will have a fairly good list.

    I still say Empoleon.
Sure you will have mirror matches all day, but you can easily tech for those, and since its the same deck as you're playing yourself you should know for the most part how they will work it and what to expect.
And as for counters, how many counters to Emp are there really?
If playing an Empoleon counter you have to take into account that you will also be playing Gardevior/Gallade decks all day as well, so you essentially have to counter that as well. And if finding that deck were simple enough everyone would be playing them instead of the earlier stated two.
If you play Emp you should be in the clear. Yea mirror matches aren't fun, but in all reality Empoleon as very few to no exact counter decks.
There is also a certain '*' Pokemon that just happens to LOVE the mirror and fits the theme of the deck perfectly...

If you ask me, Empo is the play. It wipes the floor with Banette normally, it can hold is own against G&G, will beat some of the Random Fire that shows up, etc.

I really do think that Empoleon should be your play

Empoleon is BDIF if you look at European Nationals results.
But I wouldn't play it with Exploud (it's funny but too flippy for a tournament like Nationals, and it needs Cessation Crystal to be effective). Omastar or another useful co-line (and Claydol of course) is enough for Empoleon.

Garchomp is good, too, but it shouldn't be overteched. You can focus on rebirth, but if you do play only 2-3 pure tech Pokémon, too many of them make the deck inconsistant... and no way rebirth Ampharos, it's just not worth.

Magmortar loses to Empoleon which will be the most played deck along with GG/Plox, so I don't think it's a good choice.

I don't know how Rockband would do... it never was very popular in Europe. :/

Leafeon/Sceptile with Dugtrio and Crystal Beach. Almost no chance for Empoleon without alternative hitters or techs. But I don't think anyone will play such a deck because it's to difficult to build up.

Don't play empoleon or magmortar. Empoleon will be very expected and amost everyone will tech against it. Also since empoleon is going to be played mag dies to it.

t4-t6? thats not good the one i play with is 4 beedrill T3-T4, but i run NO tech like dusknoir.

honestly, i would go with either beedrill or chonp. Only because sooo many people are going to be playing empoleon that either of the other decks would have a tough matchup against.

Chomp with Dugtrio tech(and Diglet). TogeChomp that is. I don't recommend playing any techs, the space can be used for some trainer to make the deck more consistent. Like a Bebe's so you could have a 5th Celio's. < Believe me it helps consistentcy a lot.

Play GG,its the BDIF,why not play it since alot of other people will.

I over estimated there. :p It sets up about the same as yours, and I don't run Dusknoir either as it ruins consistency.
