He has dual citizenship. He cannot play in the Australian Nationals however.

From Pokemonistic point of view he is then New-Zealander and nothing else ;)

Citizenship does not matter in Pokemon TCG, it is where you had the principal residance the last 6 months that decides which country you reprensent.

It is possible for people to have legal resident status in more than one country.

It is not possible for them to play in more than one Nationals.

But each individual is entitled to choose which Nats they play, as long as they meet the criteria.

Let me put it this way. Each year we organize a national tournament for ourselves (Note it's not OP), because in Poland we don't have Battle Roads nor Cities nonetheless Nationals. That's why we take organizing it into our hands and players from all the cities across Poland come to participate. Format was BW-PLF

There were 36 players (not everyone was able to play as the rented venue without sponsorship was very small) and we've played Swiss 7 and then top8 (best of 3).

No names just nicknames.
1. Babidi (Big Basics/Garbodor)
2. Rexio (Ho-oH ex + Gallade)
3. Yabol (GothiLock)
4. Robert (Darkrai/Hydreigon)
5. Betonowy (Darkrai/Absol)
6. Shellaqdo (Rayeels)
7. Shun (Darkrai/Absol)
8. Nataku (Ho-Oh Ex)

There were actually 1 player with 7-0, 1 player with 6-1 and 7 players with 5-2 (If I remember correctly) and I was the only player with 5-2 that didn't get to top cut :) I didn't mind it as I could've helped tournament organizer with judging the finals and I came there to get that 5-2, not to win ;).

The winner got 15 boosters, don't judge us ;). There were some plasma decks but they didn't run so well.

@Marcinho

Thanks for the swiss results.

@Qzin

You do well to organise a National. It might catch some attention. Did you already talked to your distributor ? You seem to have enough players to be eligible from Pokemon USA "requirements" to have a bunch of tournaments in Poland.
