I have no idea Andrew.
But bear in mind that there is more to a cards value that just it's rarity.
It could be as rare as PR Raichu, but that doesn't mean it's worth $10K.
If its a decoration, there could be thousands of these cards.
However, how many have survived?
I certainly haven't seen any others.

Agreed scarcity does not effect the price as much as history does. A personal example is that I purchased the PR-Raichu for about $4,000 more than what I paid for the No. 1 2008 trainer. Now The Trophy cards only have 3 issued per year-with unique text for every year, while the PR-Raichu was a card that was printed back in 1999 or so but never got out to the actual public in till fairly recently. There are many who believe that there are around 8-11 PR-Raichus and each one has the same style, an ordinary Base-Set Raichu card with an extraordinary green-prerelease stamp that makes it one of the most sought out cards in Pokemon. Based on these observable facts The Trophy cards should be more valuable, there are less of them and there art work has more style than the PR-Raichu- but the history of the PR-Raichu is by bar-none the most interesting in Pokemon TCG history. Your card may be rarer than the PR-Raichu or even rarer than the No. 1 Trainer Trophies but that does not mean it is more valuable.

i'm sure most of them got trashed as most decorations did. have you asked andrew f.? i' bet he would remember as he had alot to do with putting those events together.

i was asking pop as i'm sure he knows who i'm talking about and how to get in touch

and sorry, but i never found the pojo that had that card in it; just the pojo pokemon encyclopedia.

HUGE HUGE HUGE BIG BIG BIG NEWS.
ok first off i have huge news coming up withing the next couple of weeks.
i may have something that is as a big deal as the pre-release raichu card you seen earlier this month.
william and me both bought something huge in pokemon around the exact same time in april.when he got his big news i got my big news.
now i dident say anything because i wanted william to enjoy his spot light while he can.I tohught it was only fair that since he spent over 10k for a card he got all the attention.but now its time he has bragging competition.
i will be revealing this (in my opinion my own kind of the holy grail) real soon.
in about 2-3 weeks i will be revealing this item under the title "bigger and better then pre-release raichu"
of course this is my opinion but it may be a fact depending if others feel the same way.
i cant wait to tell and show you.but im busy with moving and such that i dont have time.
so in about 2-3 weeks you can see whats better mines or his.until then please take some guesses that may compete or blow away with pre-raichu.
please take alot of guesses because im wondering what your answers might be.

Well theres not much better or rarer than a Prerelease Raichu so Im pretty sceptical about this at the moment.
Unless of course you've actually managed to breed living pokemon =P
But Ill save any judgement until you actually announce what it is officially.

There are a handful of cards that are rarer than Pre-release Raichu, but none are as popular so many people don't know about them. I just hope your update has photographs of whatever this secret item is and proof that it's really you that owns it, or most of us will remain skeptic on your claims. Cheers~

it is real pokepop saw it in person when he took pics of it when he took pics of the miscut card.so pokepop knows its real.

Yeah... it's about time you have made your 'mysterious' purchase public. I have guessed basically through emails with crazypokemon what it might be and I have no clue but to be honest with everyone, I think crazypokemon maybe misinformed about what he thinks is 'rarer' than the PR-R, sorry crazypokemon but unless some like PokePop who you claim saw this 'holy-grail' in person confirms what you mention then many of us will believe you and I do hope that you have something truly extraordinary in the world of Pokemon TCG since I love hearing about and seeing ultra-rare Pokemon cards.

crazypokemon also PM'd me a couple of weeks ago to brag about a new find which he was going to reveal in the future. He asked me not to mention what it was so I wont, but if this is the same item that hes referring to now then yeah, crazypokemon is misinformed. The item is certainly rare but nowhere the rariety or value of PR Raichu.

crazypokemon, its been around a month since the PR Raichu news story hit the headlines, and the story is starting to die down currently, so you might be better off revealing the item soon, like within the next week.

If its not the same item that you mentioned to me eariler then all the best to you, and I do hope that you have a rare TCG item thats rare than PR Raichu. As soon as it's revelaed people will be able to give you a better judgement on how much its worth and how rare it is.

i think your wrong djgigabyte.i think your getting confused what i said. i said i was talking about something else.something different. what i said in the emails had nothing to do with the pre-raichu
if you remembered what i said, i said about all of my collection how many years i put in and how much cards i had.
i said how many cards i had in my collection thats what we talked about that had nothing to do with the pre-raichu.
so no what i said was completly different.sorry.

Sorry crazy, but there is NO card ( english anyways)as rare or as valuable as Willaim's pre-release riachu.

Not even close. Not with the history and mystique that comes with the riachu, sorry.

John

ok william first of all i said in my opinion its worth more and rarer then your card.for all you know i could mean a magikarp or metapod you never know if thats what i was thinking.
first off my name is crazypokemon if something sounds "crazy" and its about pokemon you should think twice what i said.
this is america(at least where im at anyway)i was just using my freedoms.
william i told you all month through emails i had something better but how do you know if it was right.
i did say in my opinion plus my name is crazy.also this is still april maybe it was a joke this whole time who knows you dont know, i dont know,no one knows it, my opinion and every opinion is different.
also i want to take this time to appologize to pokepop i never meant to get him involved in this "crazypokemon" stuff that i wrote claiming to be better then raichu card.i did not tell pokepop i was going to put that message and mention his name.so i appologise i never meant to do that.
also william i never did say what it is or what is was or if there was there.
its april and im crazy pokemon.
its now the last day of april so the jokes are over now no more jokes ok.
next time you hear from me or about what i have in my collection consider it true.

djgigabyte was confused he thought what i told him was better then the raichu card all i said was about how many card i have after all the years of collecting he thought all of my cards were better then the raichu.he tohugh my collection is what i meant when i said that.
