Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

New Level X cards?

no, they were the same time, but never before, and i ain't so sure that cres and rai in LVX and nonLVX igonna happen for some reason. i think they'll do palk and dialg LVX and normal cres and rai. then i think they'll throw in a different LVX so that it isn't entirly legendary dominated (i think prolly roserade LVX). that i think would be better, it doesn't seem right to stick all the legendary LVX's in one set, it seems too obvious and slighty plain to do that. nintendo would be wise to mix it up a bit.
and i do know what i'm talking about reaserch wise. i was implying that a LVX has not ever come before the normal one, and as i see it i don't think that they will cram all the new legendary's into one set.

Man, I'd LOVE to pop up in the next set as a LV.X card... Can you imagine all of the little kids?
"Hey, do you have a Rai LV.X?"
"I don't need a Rai LV.X, I AM a Rai."

*SHOT for stupid joke* [del]Almost as fun as RaiEggs and RaiTric...[/del]

AAANYWAYS. There's no way we're getting an LV.X card that hasn't come out in Japan. Meaning, no Roseraid, no Gallade. No. Absolutely not.

I would NOT be surprised to see all 4 legendary pokemon arrive as LV.X pokemon. In fact, it'd be HIGHLY disappointing. And not 'cause I wouldn't get to hear kids screaming about how they need me for their Blissey/Weavile deck. We already know all 4 of those pokemon are coming out in GE. We had all three starter pokemon LV.X appear in Diamond and Pearl (Infernape, etc.), why in the world would a collection like this get split up? Especially since Dialga, Palkia, and Darkrai were ALL delayed specifically to match with the movie release (only logical explanation for them not being in last set, and us getting Honchkrow and Garde last set). The only question is how are we getting them. If pokemon doesn't split the LV.X between the set and the theme decks... It'll be... VERY interesting. You can only push a pokemon back for so long before you run out of sets to release them in (indeed, what'll we do for DP5? Hm...)

I don't want Palkia..... that card is going to be a pain in the butt.

Now Darkrai, I could use a few of those evil creations.

IS the new movie going to go to theaters or straight to DVD?? Ig in theaters, it would be interesting if the released those Lv X cards at the theater as an option and then release the other 4 in the set. I know it is a stretch, but would be interesting!

Movie gets:
Palkia lV X
Dialga LV X
Darkrai LV X

Set Gets:
Cressila LV X
Garchomp LV X
Glaceon LV X
Leafeon LV X

Wishful thinking! The otehr option is to allow the 3 Movie Lv X to be a promotional MAIL IN for those that buy the DVD if it goes straight there (more than likely) but with the popularity of Pokemon starting to grow again, I could see a full feature at the theaters again! Might actually do well!

What new Level X cards will be in DP4?

I would like to point out something that's been revealed from Pokebeach scans... Moonlight Stadium is card 100 out of 106.

So what trainer cards do we get in that set? Spoilers on this site says that Japan has gotten
Dome Fossil
Helix Fossil
Old Amber
Amulet Coin
Leftovers
Dawn Stadium
Moonlight Stadium
Premier Ball
Rare Candy
Suzy’s Lottery

Note that Suzy's Lottery is renamed to Felicity's drawing, number 98. In between this and Moonlight would come Leftovers and Helix Fossil, yes. But wait a minute, we only have room for 1 card here! O___o

So what's next? Old Amber, Premier Ball, and Rare Candy, yes?

Doesn't that only leave room for 3 LV.X pokemon?

Or what about this: we don't get the Fossil pokemon in Great Encounters (well, the card numbers do nothing but suggest this) if that happens... We'd have room for 4 LV.X pokemon in the set.

Seems fairly clear to me that we're getting Dialga and Palkia. We also know Porygon Z (non LV.X) is in the set. The last card's a coin toss between Darkrai, Cresselia, and Porygon Z, I think ((Obviously Darkrai's the most sure bet. I would not be surprised to see Cresselia in here too)). And it also seems like Eevee-lutions won't be in the set, but that's just me. It also doesn't feel like we're getting Call Energy and the like, 'cause aren't those placed after trainers in the set order?

I don't know why people don't understand the obvious fact that Dialga, Palkia, Cresselia, and Darkrai are at a minimum the guaranteed LvXs for this set.
Rai's fossil theory would make sense, since that'd be 4 LvXs.

i think we're getting palkia, dialga, darkrai, and cressilia in GE. its pretty obvios seing as they're on the packs. and nintindo has shrunk the set and they are going to take the cards that we havent gotten yet and make them into a DP5. Why? simple. to make more money!!! sry thats how it could be:frown:

ugh I'm pretty sure this is how it'll work
Great Encounters
Darkrai + Darkrai Lv.X
Dialga (reprint DP1) + Dialga Lv.X
Palkia (reprint DP1) + Palkia Lv.X
P7
No Lv.X's or Garchomp Lv.X
DP5
Porygon Z Lv.X (god I want this card NOW!!)
The two Eevee X's
Cressla Lv.X
Boom thats wat I think..

I'm not saying the LvX will come out before the regular ones. They're going to come out at the same time. In this set.
There's absolutely no logic or reasoning behind "I don't think they would put all the legendaries into one set."
This wouldn't be the first time there were that many legendaries in a set. Pack Art already proves your theory wrong anyways.

quite simply (this is what a friend said)
its a reallybad marketing move.

nintendo dont make bad marketting moves. thats my reason.

Well if they don't make Garchomp Lv.X a set Pokemon and make it a tin Pokemon then I will sue them.
My whole deck is planned out and if I have to go to Area 52 on a Wednesday(my only free afternoon) and say: "May I please have the Garchomp tin?" and the person at the counter says: "We don't have any in stock and we won't be getting any." Especially if some kid who doesn't even play in comps shows up at league and shouts out: "I got a Garchomp Tin on Thursday from Area 52!!"

They've already MADE that bad marketing move by putting the regular ones in the set (Which is the very least that is confirmed by the pack art).
It would be an even WORSE move for them to put the regular ones in the set but not the LvXs.
With all four of them in the set in their regular forms, there's absolutely no reason not to put all four LvXs in.

Honestly I am kinda thinking a safe bet on the lvl x's for this set will include Palkia and Dialga (they were the reason that we got our DP sets all mixed up, because of the movie they are in... suposively) and maybe even Porygon. I say Pory because they are showing us teasers of the Porygon 2 and such. I saw the translated version on pokebeach.com. I think maybe they are trying to get people excited about those.

I really just have a gut feeling they won't give us Darkaria, be cause he's sooooo powerful, but the point is that
1. they gave him to japan so they have to eventually give him to us right?
2. They are making Darki into a them deck (the pacaging was also shown on Poke Beach) so don't you think it might be a good sales move: Not saying he'll be in the deck, but the basic one will be... If you are trying to sell decks then put something that everyone needs to play something they want in it so they will buy that too.

So THAT is why basic metal and basic dark energies don't appear in the sets... To force us to buy starter decks... I get it now...

...

Seriously though, they want to up sales? Put LV.X pokemon in the starter decks. Why in the world does Japan get EX pokemon, LV.X pokemon, and 2 copies of them in their starter decks when we get 1 copy of one rather random stage 2 pokemon from the set? Sounds like a weird way to not encourage people to buy your starter decks...

And I can't think of a way that we're getting the fossils and Eevee-lutions (not to mention Garchomp and Porygon Z), while not getting the four legendary pokemon and their LV.X pokemon in this set. The set list just doesn't have room for such messiness, no. To think we're not getting Cresselia, Darkrai, Dialga, and Palkia would be rather crazy.

[del]Then again, I fully thought we'd be getting Garchomp in Secret Wonders, so what do I know?[/del]

no reason... well:
if they were both in the same set, you could simply buy a box with a good chance of getting both darkrai and darkrai LVX. asuming they are in a different set however, they would have to buy the 16 boosters of each set (same as a box amount) separetly, lowering the chance of getting both the cards and they would cost more as cards are sidnificantly cheeper in bulk.

thats the bad marketing trick in a nutshell, and they would be fools now that they have waved the spoilers and scans at you on the internet to not spread them out so that they can rob us all for mutch more than the usually unjustifiably bad price for cards.

With 4 Level Xs announced, I would be amazed if it were not...

Palkia
Diagla
Darkrai
Cresselia

I would hope to see Garchomp or Porygon Z lvl x, but I am not holding my breath.

if you guys go to go-pokemon and read, it says 4 lv.x will be in DP4. palkia, dialga, and cresselia
are on the packs and darkrai is in a started deck, so its probably those 4. (BTW, it says 4 legendary pokes)
