Newest Pokemon Patch for Apprentice

Thanks a million RAinbowRichards, just one more quistion when I go to play a game via the internet it says type in opponents address is their a way to play a random person? If not how do I get the "address".

Well, no, you can't play a "random person" - you need their IP address in order to play via the Internet. The person you intend to play will need to give this to you. That would mean coordinating in advance with a player via IM/PM and exchanging whatever info necessary to connect.


I haven't actually played against an opponent, only solitaire as yet.

I'm just a computer geek kind of guy and I help out when I can (both here and @ PTCO).

Lanturn12345: Did you copy/paste all the files from the patch to the Apprentice folder? If you did and are still having problems, I suggest that you download the Apprentice with patch already installed at http://www.animeplanetnet.net/Apprentice.zip

Okay PojoThundachu.Sorry I got the name wrong.I tried the patch and it looked like it loded then I went back to Apprentice and checked deck editor and it was Magic cards?What went wrong?

Did you replace the file C:\Apprentice\Sets\CardInfo.dat with the copy of the same-named file that was included in the 533.zip?? The same goes for several files in C:\Apprentice\.

The easiest thing to do is use the new copy of Aprentice WITH the patch already installed - the link was posted by Thundachu in an earlier post.

Added were the Nintendo Promos we didnt have yet.

That patch will be added to the Apprentice package ASAP.

The fact that you tried to download stuff from a thread over a year old may have something to do with it.

Try Pokebeach.com. They have an Apprentive section.
