I`d love to come up but that`d be some trek to and fro every week...besides,I run my league on Saturday.

I tried to look up the route on Yahoo and it wouldn`t accept the address you gave...

Same here - it's at the intersection of MD Rt 713 (Ridge Rd) and MD 175 - right next to the 7-11. Pretty easy to find, it's just 5 minutes (or less) from Arundel Mills.

Let me get this straight...

RR, you got a library to hold the league?? Wow, how did you do it?? I would like to get something like that, it beats a crowded store any day. Well tell me the whole bit, maybe it can help me out.

See ya

Well...

1. I had remembered reading (on the 'Gym, IIRC) that Libraries & Community Centers were acceptable (to Nintendo) as League venues (this was confirmed in an email with Dave Schwimmer).
2. I checked with our local library, and was able to reserve time on two Saturdays per month for our League to meet.
3. Next I registered our League at http://op.pokemon-tcg.com/leagues.html (there is an age requirement - not sure what it is, but I know I would meet it unless it's over 44 lol :D)

That's pretty much it - feel free to PM or email me if you have any more questions (or post here).

Hello again...

Does anyone out there know if there is a cost to pay for the league or are the kits free. I would like to start one, but don't have much to support it.

I believe the kits are free but they have to be ordered by a store owner or someone who would be "capable"(meaning old enough to organize a League by getting the place, running it,etc..).You might want to e-mail them if you have any questions.

We're still running League sessions twice monthly! :thumb: Hope to see some new faces this Saturday ;).

BTW, new players who come regularly will get back Season promos to reward consistent attendance :D

Brian,
Just returned from a 25 day vacation (whew!). I am working midnight shifts this weekend but you do put up some enticing offers to attend! Since TRU will be doing another demo this Saturday (if I understand correctly), will the league still start at 10 am? Perhaps I can get the kids to attend..no plans yet for this weekend.

I thought the Stadium Challenge Metang was for Stadium particiapants only? How did you get them to give away at your league? I live in Nevada, I already had to go out of state to play in a gym challenge and the fact that Nevada didn't have eather a gym challenge or a stadium was anoying enough, now your saying your league players this week will recieve a Stadium Challenge Metang. If you guys have them then we want them for our league here in Nevada.
