I agree with Umbreon. Solitare games are slightly different, but with enough practice, one can almost be impartial in how one plays. It just takes a while to get there.

i guess i have some agreement with this article, i hate gardy becuase of its distinct abillity to win with minimal effort (a reason why i also refused to play blissey)

it does also seem un-errata-able so bannin the card does seem like a good way to make the skilled player shine over who left that 3rd night maintenance out and therefore lost to a better build play.

Agreed. There are two types of impartiality that you need to achieve when playtesting like this:

A) Don't root for a deck. The first few times I ever did this, I found myself horribly guilty of favoritism. Now, I can let my personal GG fall to Banette.

B) [The obvious one] Don't let your plays get affected. Double-blind is how most real games are played, so double-blind is how testing should ideally be.

So.....can we all agree that GG decks will be used at Worlds this Friday? and that THERE ARE WAYS to beat it?

You have to look at the bad side of things once in a while.
I can almost guarantee that, excluding anything not directly related to the main event, this will be the worst Worlds ever. It'd be better if everyone spontaneously broke into song and dance before every round while waving their arms in the air like they just don't care, flapping their arms like impoverished stage performers, clucking like hens in heat, and repeatedly asking each other personal questions.

Part of me wants all of the T4 decks in each age division to be GG/PLOX, JUST to see what PUI would do.

Welcome to the wonderful world of part-time anarchy.

Thankfully, worlds is not just a big Pokemon tournament. It's like being in our own little city for a weekend.

Maybe GG decks will not be used at worlds that much, since people hate it. =D
instead, people would want to play a counter instead. A counter to beat the BDIF. Plus,I heard EmpoZong can beat GG.
That's what I see coming up, feel free to disagree with me.

Let me continue what I quoted from before:
I can't even believe that people think that PLOX is still the BDIF! It was good for CC's, SPT's, Regi's, and some BR's (with the right techs). Have any of you empo haters heard of Bronzong or any other damage spreaders (Absol ex and Zapdos)??? I am a PLOZ and empozong player but, my empozong list slaughters almost any other deck (4-0 in tournies). You just use Dual Splash to death and win. I don't even have a problem with PLOX. Unless PLOX can tech in Electivire DP and power it up every turn, empoleon will win. The matchup is more like 65-35 in empoleons favor and 60-40 to 55-45 in empoleons favor for a genous PLOX player. I still beat empoleon when I play PLOX but, I know what to do but, I find empoleon to be better.

Or, just look at this thread in general.

As you can see, most people thought that Empozong was better in this thread. Most people thought that it would win Nats, however, it didn't even make it past top 8. They were proven wrong, and now everyone thinks Plox is the best now. Nats disproved a lot. Empozong is a fairly even matchup, it doesn't have an advantage.

And of course, just because Norman says it, it is now so easy to combat Plox. Thanks.

That is only because I am a noob.

Anyways, I kind of agree with phazon elite. As much as I hate the deck, part of me wants it to get T4 in all age groups just to see what pui will do about it...

Marvin, I completely agree with you. I'd like to see what they would do also.

I hope they have this big marketing strategy devoted to the diversity of the 07-08 season, and I hope it just gets thrashed. Utterly annihilated. Just like any hope we had of them listening to their player base and doing anything about the format.

My advice,
If u play Plox againts non mirror,Use the GG stratergy
But if u play againts Mirror Use Plox stratergy. Its more faster n Doesnt waste time
Focus More on Gallade if u want to avoid stalling
I hope u understand
Thanks

Haha...Worlds 08 promo decks=all the same deck XD

Even better: PUI makes four all-new decks out of the tech lines used in four different GG decks. For example, if a GG deck that had a 1-1 Breloom and a Jirachi ex as the techs won Worlds (and all of the other T4 decks in each division were GG, too), PUI would make a Breloom-Jirachi ex Worlds 2008 promo deck with some sort of absurdly laughable excuse of a marketing line.

Wow, instead of banning Gardy, they did the best thing they could have done, increased the time that players have so that they can avoid the: "Players, Time. Bring Down, Game." scenario.

GJ POP!!! Thanks a bunch!
